Very large room, quiet and clean property, friendly staff. If you want to try an Onsen but don't feel comfortable with others, the property has 3 private Onsens. When you use one, you lock the door from the inside and can use it for 30 minutes. Little village has a few restaurants.
The mattresses are too thin and not comfortable.

The pictures in this hotel do not make justice to reality. I was expecting something of relatively low (but decent) quality, but I found something much better. The hotel is very clean, it smells nice and the facilities are awesome.
My partner and me arrived to this place after a five day hike trip in the Hida mountains. Arriving here with the private onsens and all the beautiful facilities made our recovery the best experience.
Private bathroom would be nice. Even when the shared bathroom is quite clean and comfortable, privacy would be a plus!

Three private onsens with one is outdoor onsen.
There are some stained in the room, but understandable and acceptable. I f they provide meals will be perfect.
