Cat Ba Countryside Homestay

The property itself is beautiful, surrounded by nature and all open planned. The staff are wonderful and accommodating. The food is really delicious, the kitchen open to order most of the day! The host is super helpful and will sort any trip you like!

The room itself is very simple, the shower very basic. But all comfortable. Adjustable AC in the rooms and comfortable bed and sheets.

Beautiful, excellent location.

My friend’s room smelt of mould. There were holes in the walls that let mosquitos in. Window screens would have been great for fresh air at night.

Great guest house in the middle of the Island. Clean rooms with a nice garden and pool area. Restaurant had a good selection of dishes. A small shop nearby as well as a couple of other eating places. Bikes or mopeds for hire as well as booking onward bus tickets. Would definitely recommend a stay here for a few nights away from the town

Clean room, great food and nice gardenarea!

I stayed at this homestay for 3 nights. The room was clean, but it had a musty smell. I didn’t see any mold, though. I was not happy with the customer service. After 2 nights, I wanted to book the dorm room. There was only one person in the dorm. I asked the manager directly, but he told me the dorm was “closed” for that day. I was confused because the dorm was still available on Booking.com and Agoda. He said that’s not true and told me to book a private room instead. He said he is a businessman – I respect that – but I think this was not the right way to treat a guest.
