Great basic accommodation

Fridge and kettle would have been nice, but were not expected as not advertised.

The location is more than fantastic! Close to metro and trains, close to main streets and attractions, 24/7 grocery next door. Couldn’t be better! The rooms are clean and unexpectedly quiet. The stuff is super polite and even my teen son clothes were neatly folded each day. Great service and stay.

The bathroom is really small. But this is not a great problem. The rooms are a bit pricy, but it is worth the money.

Ciudad Condal Hostal was an absolute gem in Barcelona! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations and directions, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was much bigger than we expected, clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after long days exploring the city. The location truly could not have been better. Right in the heart of Passeig de Gràcia, we were surrounded by amazing restaurants, shopping, beautiful architecture, and iconic spots like Casa Batlló all within walking distance.

If it’s for a short stay, it’s perfectly adequate. Since everything in central Barcelona is within walking distance and the location is very central, it’s excellent in terms of convenience. Having a 24/7 reception and a supermarket downstairs are great, and card access makes things easier.

For a long stay, the window facing a closed area (where the hanging laundry racks with clothes drying on them cause humid air) and the lack of a kitchen or refrigerator could be challenging.
