Great location by the sea. Good was good

It is no where near 5 stars. The facilities, spa, room, bed, pillows, cleaning etc. did not live up to any other five star hotels we’ve ever stayed at.

Not a 5 star experience

Breakfast was very modest, far from a 5 star breakfast. And not what I’d expect from a hotel in this price range.

Room was worn, bed very hard and not comfortable, a quite weird smell in the room (smoke in the wall-smell) the bathroom still had lots of hair left in the shower from previous guest.

Despite some notable inconveniences, the overall stay was pleasant.

The hotel is visually appealing and has several strengths, but in my opinion, it does not fully deserve a 5-star rating. The Danish-style breakfast was very good and definitely a highlight. Despite these shortcomings, our stay was enjoyable. We chose this hotel mainly for the pool and jacuzzi, which met our expectations. The staff – reception, kitchen, and housekeeping – were all friendly and professional, with no complaints at all.

However, a few important elements were missing for a hotel of this standard. There were no bathrobes in the room, which was inconvenient given the presence of a swimming pool and wellness area. One of the showers in the women’s changing room was out of order. In our room, the carpet had visible stains, and there was no mini fridge or cooler, which is typically expected in hotels of this category.

All staff were great. Breakfast were great. The restaurant were great. The view from the restaurant is very nice.

regulating the temperature of the shower was responding really slow. the selection of wines in the pop-up wine bar were a little disappointing (especially considering the wine list in the restaurant)

The hotel is old, is mainly under for conferences and birthdays, but is still cosy.

the atmosphere was nice, not a huge hotel, thus rather cosy, but still higher level.

The furniture and the facilities especially in the bathroom are rather old, some of it (socket, door to the shower) are even broken. Shower facilities in the common changing room (female) near the pool are old and even broken. These little things killed the euphoria about the hotel a little.

we cycled from Germany trough Sweden and Denmark and this hotel was the well deserved wellness ride

We really loved it here. Just stayed for one night but the staff at the main desk were just so lovely! She helped us with every little question & made us feel really welcomed even if we weren't on a business trip in suits. The kindness from the woman who was working late/nightshift und 2nd of June (I tried to remember her name, but I'm so bad at it) overwhelmed us with her care, kindness and professionality. She made our stay ten times better and we really enjoyed the clean, modern rooms, the details and the environment. The waitresses from the hotel restaurant were great as well & we loved the food, spa and wellness. All in all: The hotel wins not with only the classy design but especially with the heart warming people who work there.

Just a LITTLE minus: there was a construction place and the terrace was about to be build new, so it was a little bit noisy by times. But the instruction workers were so friendly and polite, you couldn't even think about being mad at them.

Lovely hotel but our experience with the car park ruined not just our stay but our entire holiday.

Beautiful hotel and excellent breakfast

We would not stay there again though or recommend it to any one. Our car was vandalised in the car park, and it seems like it is a common occurrence. There are no security cameras or other deterrents. The hotel is completely isolated so if you travel by car, there is no other option but to park in their car park. The staff were sympathetic but did little to support us in getting the issue dealt with.

Amazing place to discover in Denmark. It is in the middle of a fantastic forest and the Baltic sea. The hotel is wonderful, full of details The food is amazing and staff is very friendly. I would definitively go back again.

Nice, but not five stars

Location close to nature and sea. Breakfast was good with variety. Calm and relaxing atmosphere, Free parking with many places without reservation. Nice walking area and views from the restaurant

Not five star quality, but almost close to three star. There is no fridge in the room and no drinks. Photos on the booking show the room's view towards the garden while in reality was towards a courtyard of common terrace which makes it difficult to open the curtain. Problems with the elevator

Great stay in Middlefart.

The location is great. Really enjoyed the indoor pool and sitting in the outdoor bar area later in the evening. Breakfast was really good and fresh.

good location. easy check in. very nice room and the bed and pillows and duvets were excellent

left my expensive airpod pro's in the hotel room when we left. called 5 hours later and they were no where. Called several days in a row and they never turned up. Even with smaller gadgets its hard to believe the cleaners are in such a rush that they cannot discover items left in the rooms. disappointing as I would also have expected such a standard place to have a good customer services in place for these kind of incidents.

Amazing location but missing 5* touches

The location and very good lunch. The restaurant staff and the evening receptionist were all very nice and friendly.

Too much noise in the room. Room 22 is situated next to a big ventilation tube, kitchen staff entrance, and refrigerator room. I had to ask twice, 2 different receptionists, to change our room. No body lotion available or bathrobes if you book a standard room. Normal for a 3* hotel but not for a 5*.

All in all a nice stay, we were lucky with the weather most of the time.

Very nice view! Perfect temperature in the room. Clean room. Nice staff. Good bed and nice with the extra pillows. Good burgers and panini bred.

Booked through Booking.com, and expected a much larger room, than we got (Room 104). Went for the most expensive I could get with a sea view, and expected what we guess is the case, when one book on the top floor. Tried to purchase a beer, so we could sit outside in the sun enjoying a beer or two, but this for some reason wasnt possible, even though there were beer on the menu for the room service. Noise from the room above us. Guess they had a child, who loved to run around jumping from time to time.

Beautiful location, lovely staff, good food

For a king suite we probably expected a bit more welcoming atmosphere - a little complimentary chocolate, water bottle or a little print out welcoming you by name. As for breakfast although perfect quality, we expected 5star breakfast-menu rather than buffet. It just needed that little extra bit to make it feel 5star & servicing /welcoming for a king suite. A few constructive notes for management here :-)

Mooi en ook sfeervol hotel, prima onderhouden op mooie locatie. Voldoende vrije parkeerruimte en goed bereikbaar. Waard om te vermelden is het meer dan uitstekende restaurant! In- en uitchecken verliep vlot en correct.

De geboekte kamer met balkon was netjes doch niet al te groot, zowel slaapkamer als badkamer. Qua prijs/kwaliteit derhalve ietwat tegenvallend. Verder blijft het behelpen met die waterkokers (geen gratis flesje water) in dit soort hotelkamers met een 10cm lang snoer terwijl stopcontact meters weg is.

God beliggenhed i dejlige omgivelser

Vires restaurant besøg var dog knap så godt . Vi fik maden serveret og så måtte vi ellers klare os selv. Ingen der spurgte indtil om alt var godt, eller vi kunne tænke os dessert eller lign. Da vi skulle kvittere for maden måtte vi finde en tjener og så vente på at vedkommende havde tid til at hjælpe os.
