Mljet Sunset Apartments

Apartment was as advertised. Clean, fully equipped and wow the location. Petar, the host, was friendly and gave helpful advice.

The view of this property is priceless. Our room had a balcony with a sunset view, we could watch the boats coming and going. Quite peaceful. Quick walk to local restaurants or the small market. And quite close to the national park. Our host was warm and welcoming, recently upgraded the unit which had a kitchen with good cooking supplies, good closet space and storage, and nice amenities.

Nothing negative to note.

The apartments are just a 8min walk from the ferry stop along a promenade. It is right next to several restaurants. You can bathe a few metres away from the apartment and you have a great view from the balcony including a great sunset. Property was clean with multiple sockets for charging devices.

Minor inconvenience is the 2 short flights of stairs to reach apartment. So avoid heavy luggage. Would have been nice to have 2 extra pillows.

The view/balcony was lovely and provided a good relaxable space, additionally the bed was extremely comfortable. Host gave helpful information and easy to contact.

When we first tried to have a shower the hot water lasted around 1 minute before going cold, from that point we never had hot water for the remainder of our stay. Thankfully my boyfriend had data, for the Wi-Fi was non existent and no internet connection for the whole of the stay. Due to expensive restaurant prices we planned on cooking in the apartment kitchen provided, but were horribly disappointed when we couldn’t even boil water for pasta (had to seek alternative options) as the hob didn’t work properly. Not enough toilet roll and when we ran out, receptionist could not be found had to resort to using kitchen roll.
