Fantastic location - you’ll never leave the balcony

Incredible location and view from the terrace Petar was fantastic - accommodating, friendly, gave us loads of great tips and info about the island and was always available if we needed him Some excellent fresh fish restaurants in the vicinity Great swim spots nearby Clean and simple decor Really cold fridge/freezer, great air con, hot powerful shower and everything we needed to cook. The only shop in the town is small and basic so if recommend getting a decent shop in Dubrovnik or split if you’re coming on the ferry for a good amount of time

A wonderful relaxing stop, I really didn’t want to leave! 🥰

The property was in a perfect location over looking the sea. It was great to sit on the balcony watching the boats. The sun loungers were perfect in the afternoon sun and then walking down the stairs to jump in the sea to cool off. The National Park is about 1.5 kilometres walk away, bike hire is plentiful. The apartment is newly renovated, everything is clean, new and perfectly functioning. I was grateful of the cold water in the fridge on arrival and the air conditioning being in the kitchen not the bedroom so not noisy at night. The owner Petar, is so friendly, it was a pleasure to meet him and get local tips. There are many family owned restaurants nearby serving traditional Croatian food.

Honestly, absolutely nothing, the property was perfect and we will be back. The village would benefit from a better stocked food shop and a bakery would have been good for breakfast and lunch but the restaurants were great.

Beautiful view of Pomena

You are located right next to a small Harbour and can watch the boots arriving and leaving. The terrace has a beautiful view overlooking the blue water bay. It’s located in the national park and you can start a lot of hikes directly from the apartment. Close by are many family owned restaurants.

An amazing view in a wonderful house.

The location is perfect, the view from the balcony is surreal and the house is super well equipped, with a full kitchen, refrigerator, stove and everything very well taken care of. Truly an exceptional experience. And I have to mention Petar's friendliness, always very attentive and helpful. It was an incredible two days!

Beautiful views, could be improved.

The view/balcony was lovely and provided a good relaxable space, additionally the bed was extremely comfortable. Host gave helpful information and easy to contact.

When we first tried to have a shower the hot water lasted around 1 minute before going cold, from that point we never had hot water for the remainder of our stay. Thankfully my boyfriend had data, for the Wi-Fi was non existent and no internet connection for the whole of the stay. Due to expensive restaurant prices we planned on cooking in the apartment kitchen provided, but were horribly disappointed when we couldn’t even boil water for pasta (had to seek alternative options) as the hob didn’t work properly. Not enough toilet roll and when we ran out, receptionist could not be found had to resort to using kitchen roll.

Fantastic holiday spot

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed having breakfasts and lunches out on the balcony in the shade, and watching the spectacular sunsets in the evenings. Pomena is a great location, with easy access to the lakes, and lots of local trails to explore during the day and good restaurants in the evening. Petar was a great host, giving us local tips when we arrived. We had a wonderful stay and were very sad to leave.

Not the host's fault, but there was no supermarket in Pomena when we stayed. We had bought food from Dubrovnik, but had forgotten a few things. Petar was kind enough to drive us to Polače to pick up some extras, but it is a very basic store. Make sure you stock up before you reach Mljet!

The view from the balcony was breathtaking, the location was perfect, and the place was exceptionally clean. Also our host Petar was fantastic, very accommodating and gave great recommendations!

A very nice unit located an easy walk from the ferry terminal. Comfortable unit, with a nice deck to enjoy the spectacular views. Restaurants and National Park office close by as are amenities like Bike rental, bars etc. Host was very accommodating and even drove us to another small town on the island to pick up some grocery items. Very helpful and informative host.

Would be nice to have soap and shampoo in shower, fortunately we were able to buy these.

Everything. Amazing view from the balcony. Very comfortable beds, shower - ok. Kitchen area small, but manageable for what we needed. There is also a lovely sunbathing area solely for the use of Sunset Apartments. It is amazing and you have the feeling that the sea is your own swimming pool. It is such a pretty, relaxing area and definitely has the WOW factor We enjoyed it so much, we have already booked to go back and for longer next time 😊

Gorgeous views, efficient AC. Has basics for cooking such as dishes and utensils. Close to a small.town and the national park. Petar was very helpful and welcoming throughout.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable. There was a tea kettle, but it was not functional though we were able to boil water to get around this.

Exceptional

Clean apartment with the most amazing view. It is in a great location above some restaurants and a few minutes walk to the Pomena Ferry boat. We met Petar and he is a great host and we had good communication throughout our trip.

Sunsets are not enough

The Sunsets from the Balcony are great. Petar the owner is very nice and helpfull. We asked him for a knife and a hairdryer and he provided right away.

There is some basic equipment missing from our point of view, toilet amenities (gel & shampoo) and kitchen (napkins, breakfast bowls, olive oil... The apartment is very basic in equipment and furniture

We had wonderful time in Mljet Sunset Apartments. Owner welcomed us and shared some useful informations about the area and nearby restaurants. Apartment was very clean and had everything what we needed. View from the terrace was stunning! Every day the sky was colored differently. Also we had some problems with tap in the kitchen but It was solved promptly by the owner. Thank you Petar , we are definetely coming back next summer.

very nice location, walking distance to everything on the island and to the national forest. Apartment was clean, had everything we needed and had a wonderful patio to overlook the Adriatic. Petar our host quickly introduced himself and helped us with any questions we had about the island.

The only thing I would suggest is some lighting going up and down the stairs at night. It’s very dark and easy to miss a step or two.

Exceptional

Amazing place! I arrived a little bit earlier, but the apartment was already ready and clean. The apartment has everything you need for staying here, and the best part is the balcony from where you have the best sunset view. The apartment is in the center of Pomena, so you have everything nearby; restaurants, market and national park is very close so you don't need a car to get there. Petar is amazing host. He was very kind. He recomended me a lot of good places to visit, restaurants with local food and activities you can do here. I am definately looking forward to come here next year! :)

Exceptional

Petar is an excelent host and tries to make everything very comfortable and enjoyable. The apartments are located right at the seaside and have beautiful balconies overlooking the beach and the gulf, and they sre perfect for having dinner or a drink after swimming. The facilities are great, the kitchen fully equipped and the apartment has an AC unit for hot days. All in all, great value for money and would definitely go back.

The view from the balcony was amazing! Apartment is close enough to the centre of town and other restaurants without loads of noise. Apartment had everything you'd need for a stay; a really good-sized apartment
