Room was small cottage very comfortable Food when we ate there was very good Quiet area staff very helpful

A little cold for winter there was heating but not adequate for size of the room. I'm sure in Spring/Summer it would be fine.

Friendly staff but shabby and overpriced.

The best thing about Hotel Elefante is its staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, Barbara at reception most especially The restaurant served a pretty good breakfast and dinner too. And the swimming pool, though small, was pleasant.

The hotel was shabby and needs refurbishing. The airconditioning in my bedroom was old and noisy and not very effective. The road running beside the hotel is also noisy and the noise fills the garden. The worst thing about Hotel Elefante is that it is overpriced. For €220 per night for a single room I was expecting a much better hotel.

Lovely traditional hotel 10 minutes from Verona

Very nice hotel with restaurant and swimming pool 10 minutes by car to Verona. We got the room on the upper floor. Very large with a comfortable bed. The included buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The only minor problem was a loose toilet seat. The staff at the reception and at the restaurant was very friendly and professional. Thank you!

This hotel has been bled dry over the years with no maintenance done to repair or upkeep the standards it needs a comple

The breakfast was very good plenty of choice and continually being topped up .

The hotel room shower was not fit for purpose it had to be assembled and would not stay in position so you could close the doors properly and the shower drain has been stuck down which had came away from the floor .The electric went off every time I used the hairdryer and had to be switched back on manually. The wiring in the room was very old and looked unsafe .The hotel had really dirty worn out furniture in the lounge and reception area which was so unsightly.when I asked for another room we were told there were none available so booking.com emailed them to ask what they were going to do about it ,so they eventually offered us a garden room which had black in one corner of the bedroom ceiling which again was not fit to use . Unfortunately booking.com did not take it any further for us and we were left there another night.how booking. Com has hotel advertised we do not know and why are there no 2025 reviews anywhere??

Location, pool and food plus the staff are all fantastic!

I wish I had gotten the name of the man that worked the front desk and was a waiter at the restaurant in the evening (we were frazzled when we arrived and I honestly don't know if he gave it and after a while I was too embarrassed to ask him), but he was SO NICE and accommodating for everything! Absolutely a gem the entire time. The breakfast was delicious every day and the dinners were too. The pool could have been colder :) but it was really nice to swim after sweating in Verona all day! The grounds are gorgeous and lots of birds singing at all times (the cicadas I could live without LOL). Plus, the bus stop is right out front and takes you right into Verona. We would be exhausted by the end of the day so we would take a taxi back instead of the bus and that cost about 15 euros from Piazza Bra (but it was worth it since they don't turn on the AC in the buses even in summer for some inexplicable reason).

The room was the cabin in the back of the property, so the WIFI never worked and the TV got only a couple of working channels. Also, the AC worked pretty well when we first got there but the cleaning staff kept turning it off every time they cleaned, so we would come back to a sweltering room after being gone in the hot city all day and it took forever for the room to cool down again. After the 3rd day, it felt like the AC stopped working altogether. It wouldn't get really cold again. The power outlets were hanging out of the wall and the hair dryer would work for 1 minute and then crap out and didn't work again. I know it's kind of ridiculous, but there was a huge ant problem in front of the cabin and you could not stand there for even half a second without being bitten by ants. Last thing, I feel like they could make a smoother pathway to those back cabins because walking over the rocks even without dragging luggage was kind of a hassle when you're not surefooted (I have a damaged knee).

Beautiful countryside Villa

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, it was like a private villa on top of Verona, I was on a roadtrip with a friend, they served nice breakfast, plenty of parking and a beautiful pool. I hope I stayed another night

If you’re not fussy about aesthetics, this property will be fine for a night or two.

Close to Verona on a bus route and also close to the airport. Friendly, helpful staff. Pool to cool off with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. We had an outside “room” which has a lounge bit, bedroom and bathroom. Small fridge which is great but a very tired sleeper couch which should probably be thrown out. They also do meals in the evening.

It’s changed somewhat since the pictures were taken. It’s tired and a bit dated and could go with some TLC.

Good comfy night sleep and good access to highways

The hotel was perfect for us traveling between Milan and Venice. This was our main reason for staying here as bother were just over an hour to get too. The hotel itself was comfy and a good rest stop for us. Staff were very friendly and parking was also provided. Loved the old school feel and vibe to the hotel.

Our room was facing the road and there was quite a bit of traffic noise as its situated next to the main road.

Pleasant

The property needs some kind of update in the installations.

Despite the good restaurant, although expensive ,my wife’s main course was extremely salty making it almost impossible to eat. We warned the waiter, there was no proactive action from his side or from the management. We waited for some kind of apologizing. But not. The swimming pool was blurry and full of chloride. It needs a better maintenance.

Traditional family run hotel, garden bedroom fantastic, very, very helpful staff

If you are after a traditional Italian family run hotel with a pool this hotel is perfect. Our garden bedroom was great, away from the noise of the road and the main hotel and cleaned every day. The buffet style breakfast was plentiful and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. The pool was very welcome after a day walking round Verona and the bus services into Verona (bus 33 - 15 mins, 2 euros) and Garda (bus 164 -80 mins 4 euros) are brilliant with bus stops right outside the hotel. The hotel has a restaurant serving lunches and evening meals, good food if a little pricey.

The pool on arrival was not particularly clean however after a couple of days it had been cleaned and was great for swimming and cooling down. The meals in the restaurant were quite expensive compared to restaurants in Verona.

Room not in the hotel building how they can call it hotel? Idk. Very old, worn out furnitures. Very stinky bathroom - the smell from sewerage was awful. Breakfast was Ok but the the choice was poor. In summary - price according to conditions, location and time od the year wasnt fair 4/10 - I wouldn't recommend it.

Although the hotel is only 20 meters from the bus stop, the buses are not very often. But if you have your own car or bicycle, there will be no problems with this.

Miserable - we would never go back.

TIRED, TAWDRY AND TIMED OUT. A sad little hotel, well past its sell by date. We were greeted by a huge spider who had nested in the folds of a curtain for a long time, judging by the vast and complex web in which it lived. The central light in the sitting room comprised just wires dangling from the ceiling. The pool shower did not work. No pool towels. Pool sun beds dirty and smeared with what looked like chocolate. Pool liner worn out and needs replacing. AND YET IT HAS GOOD REVIEWS! This shows that reviews cannot be trusted as obviously some people accept very low standards. The hotel needs massive investment to bring it up to an acceptable standard.

Totally amazing hotel. The breakfast was lovely. The staff are amazing, so friendly, the restaurant is first class & as for the pool it was wonderful. It was never crowded. There was only me & another couple. The restaurant is right by the pool. It is a total diamond of a hotel. The staff are all hard-working and professional. The room I had was great, with a pool view, really did not want to leave. I will stay there again next time. Its a liitle way outside Verona, but it has a lovely garden & the bus goes frequently. But I didnt use it. The hotel is amazing! Thanks to all the staff for making my 2 days wonderful! 😁

Very good

The facilities were really great and the staff were really friendly. There is a bus stop right outside of the hotel with easy access to Verona (20 minutes on the bus). Also, the food in the restaurant was lovely.
