The villa was very close to the beach, shops & restaurants, tucked away in a beautiful little lane way so it was quiet & we felt so far away from the noise. Very clean & tidy.

Average accom, but close to restaurants & shops

The villa rooms were all separated, no interconnecting doors.Needs a Reno, No communal dining area, felt a bit disjointed.

The staff do their best. To be constructive: better supervision/maintenance for an older property.

The breakfast offering was quite limited. On the 1st day, 2 young staff came, and yet did not serve breakfast until 30 mins after the requested time of 08:00. On the 2nd day, Chef Nyoman came with 1 staff and was totally in control. He also explained how we could order individual breakfasts from the different menus. On the 3rd day, Chef Nyoman came alone, but it made no difference, as he had everything in hand. On the 4th and final morning we ate out, because the menu was quite limiting.

The floor of the living room was dusty, it could be felt underfoot, and our socks were black. It should have been mopped before we checked in. On the 2nd day, there was lizard poop on the living room floor, so it could really have done with a daily morning mop down before breakfast. One of my sisters particularly wanted to have the villa room with a bath tub, but eventually did not choose to use it because she said it looked poorly maintained.

Quiet location. The pool was amazing Large rooms and open space suited my family Very close to supermarket,restaurants,beach and shopping Breakfast every morning was great and the staff were helpful and friendly There was resident frogs at night that my kids loved

Navigating the alleyways at night was challenging but manageable once you got used to it , maybe a more detailed map in the villa of how to navigate the area would help new people get around easier but other than that no issues

Villa Bugis (Santi) was a great place for a family group.

The villa has a great layout with the individual villas around the pool and the open common area. Like the semi outdoor bathrooms too. Convenient location, once you get your bearings in the back lanes. Staff very helpful with any issues that arose during our stay. They allowed us to arrange temporary pool fencing to be erected for the duration of our stay. Gave peace of mind with a toddler.

It could do with a spurce up. A coat of paint to freshen it up would make a difference. Should supply some pool floats, rather than having to hire them from an external provider at an inflated price.

The layout, the beds and the rooms were all absolutely amazing. The pool table and the foosball table were awesome too. The pool was incredible and lawn were handy. Private chef for breakfast and host readily available. So private. Great for our family (2A, kids 14,12,10.) being close to Bintang supermarket was a bonus.

Shower heads were a bit bad. Stains on pool towels- these were replaced without hassle. The walk to the beach was longer than I thought (about 15mins) and we needed to navigate laneways. It takes about 5 mins to walk to the Main Street.

Bad villa, bad experience, and poor service. The villa was not clean, and there were someone else’s clothes left in the closet. When we reported it, they just told us to leave them there and said they would solve the issue in the morning — but no one did anything. The biggest issue was that no staff checked on us all day, and we felt completely ignored and unsafe. We got scared and left the villa the next morning. We had booked five nights but only stayed for one night, and they refused to refund us for the remaining nights. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. Not recommended at all.

Excellent

This is our second stay with Villa Bugis and have enjoyed it both times, villas have everything you need for an extended stay, all staff are great and will take care of anything you need, or you can choose to do everything yourself. We stayed in Villa Rama and is close to Bintang Supermarket for supplies and not that far from the beach, restaurants and shopping also. The rooms, bathrooms, living areas and gardens are well maintained and clean, pool is a good size.

Property is maintained well, elegant look and beautiful. The workers clean the rooms every day and quality of breakfast served is hot n fresh.

We wished tat the toilet aree had a glass door separating the toilet from open bath area to prevent insects and some privacy if people are using same time different facilities. May be more choice for breakfast.

We were told we had access to the buggy however never told that it would be an extra cost and we’re caught unaware one night when we have booked the buggy and after being dropped off we’re asked to pay 200k for our transport into town which would usually cost 66K.

We liked the swimming pool area and the service provided by the staff. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The villa is located in a good spot and easy to walk to shopping and Bintang Supermarket and the beach.

My kind of place to stay in Seminyak for family trip

Big Santi villa with 4 individual rooms. And pool in the middle. Breakfast made to cook in the morning. Lovely. Clean beds and turned down every evening with mosquito coils burning thru the night. Clean pool and jacuzzi. Friendly and helpful staff. Upmarket Bintang mart is nearby for groceries. Self cooked steaks and fried noodles for family dinner. Superb.

Inconsistent shower water pressure. Open concept toilet wasn't a thing with my family. I kinda like it though. The alley to the villa entrance is super narrow. And our van full of luggages had difficulty driving in. We walked out to main road to get to our van the remainder of our stay. 10minutes walk.

Nice infrastructure but not clean and lack privacy.

Size of the property and private pool.

Lack of privacy, staff walks in and out without permission for random tasks. The property is not very clean, very obvious that the staff do not clean the property as expected of typical hotels. As such, the floor is dirty, counter top dusty and very sticky as it was not wiped or cleaned properly.

Hotel did not honour the promise to permit re-scheduling as published by Booking.com. Despite giving one week notice, the hotel did not allow us to re-schedule. The trust is totally absent! Very disappointing!
