Iberostar Waves Club Palmeraie Marrakech All Inclusive

Another great stay with our family at Iberostar Waves Marrakech! This was our second visit, and once again, we were not disappointed. The hotel has excellent facilities, with a wide variety of food options to suit every taste. We particularly love the Moroccan dishes, which are a real highlight for us. There is always something happening, with a great selection of activities and entertainment throughout the day. We also noticed a clear improvement in the production quality of the evening shows, which made them even more enjoyable. There are plenty of activities to choose from, including golf, tennis and the outdoor gym, so it’s easy to stay active during your stay. The different pool areas are also a great feature, from the lively main pool with all the activities to the quieter Zen Pool, which is perfect when you want to relax. The gardens and grounds are beautiful and extremely well maintained, creating a very pleasant and relaxing environment throughout the resort. The free shuttle service to Marrakech is another great added value and makes visiting the city very easy. But above all, I believe it is the amazing staff who truly make this hotel special. From reception and the restaurants to the entertainment team and housekeeping, everyone is incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. A special mention goes to Bouchra, the Guest Relations Manager, and Iyed, the Assistant Manager. They were always present, approachable and ready to help, always with a warm and friendly smile. Their attention to guests really makes a difference and contributes enormously to the experience. We had another fantastic family holiday and would happily return for a third visit. Highly recommended!

Just wish there would be more frequency of the shuttle to the city around lunch time. Nothing else to report.

A Lovely Experience from Start to Finish

The staff are friendly and provide a good service.

The animation was great, however not accessible to special needs.

Property is a bit dated but upkeep is good and grounds are beautifully maintained. Excellent housekeeping. 2 pool areas; one bigger one for families and a separate adults only pool for 16+. Free shuttle bus into Marrakesh centre. Other on-site activities: table tennis tables, pétanque courts, tennis courts and a small grassed area with football nets. Good spa/hammam.

Relentless loud music that was played by the pool for most of the day. Majority of which was dance music with thumping beats - not very relaxing. Variety and quality of food & drink. We were really disappointed by the food. Lacked inspiration and variety; given that we were in a country with such rich culinary heritage, it was a let down. And the inclusive wine…..like paint stripper. I couldn’t drink it.
