Staff were incredibly friendly and could not do enough for you. The setting was absolutely stunning surrounded by beautiful nature and the water villas were beautiful and kept extremely clean.
My only minor improvement was that the resort shuttle buggy’s sometimes didn’t run frequently enough and we were left in the boiling heat.

It was true paradise
They scratched mine and my husbands suitcase when delivering them to us and they tried to charge us for a tour that wasn’t fulfilled.

Excellent holiday on a largeish Maldivian island. Beautiful sea colours surround the island, staff are ever so friendly, plenty of drinking and dinning options for our stay. As the island is quite large 1.8km if i remember correctly there are 12 seater golf carts that take guests to their rooms or from one spot on the island to another. The drivers are the unsung heroes asking if you need a lift and making conversation. Always a cheerful 'good morning', good evening from all staff and a lovely welcome in all drinks and dinning areas. We stayed in a lovely over-water villa at the west point of the island and had beautiful sunsets from our balcony. We had a excellent clean room and three bottles of local desalinated water every day. Food was good and fresh, restaurants and facilities were all clean. Staff and hotel clearly spend a lot of time making sure the basics are done well. Despite having 193 odd villas, which we were told were all full, the Island, sun loungers and dinning areas generally felt as though they were half full or at least available. Good eco credentials on use of local water and solar panels for electricity. Excellent Dolphin trip where many pods of dolphins were seen.
There were only a few minor things - service at the restaurants at Vello bar near to pool, lunch, was sometimes a little slow and occasionally side dishes ordered did not arrive or tea/coffee came almost as breakfast was finished. Early morning there was a slight sulphur smell coming from - I think it was extraction of sea water for desalination. Like all the Maldives there are small mosquito - no see um type - and this was particularly evident dawn and dusk on the southern side of the island during early morning yoga and late afternoon yoga!! We did see some evidence of fogging and an area where these was removal of some vegetation. In terms of price we paid for all inclusive and we are in high season - we obviously expected local tax and seaplane fare to the island around $1000 on arrival. To give readers some idea we ended up paying another $1300 over 11 days. Yoga, dolphin trips, personal training, tips to staff on every drinks/meals 4 per day. So its not quite all inclusive - however given if staff do a good job they will get more tips I am happy for this motivational approach! These are all at the end of the day minor but an honest and open perspective of the resort.
