Constance Moofushi Maldives - All Inclusive

The food was so delicious, the staff always super attentive and caring, wanting to give the best service ever, and tending to our needs. The Senior Water Villa was a dream, the cleaning staff kept it always perfect and was super friendly. The spa was also amazing, great treatments!!

Maybe for my taste, I would have enjoyed the evening activities a bit earlier, short after dinner like 9 pm instead of 9.30 pm or sometimes at 10.30 pm.

An island like paradise where you can watch the stars in the evening, swim in turquoise waters during the day and explore colorful fish in the coral reef. The staff do everything they can to make you feel at home. I can’t wait to come back again.

It’s not that I didn’t like it but it would be nice to have a daybed on the terrace instead of just a table and chairs. It would be really enjoyable to lie there in the evening, listen to the sound of the waves and watch the stars from the terrace.

Our stay has been a magical experience. The island and its reef are amazing, staff is extremely welcoming and available to help with anything, and quality of food & wines is excellent.

Nothing specific

Overall, the resort was fine - nothing special, but nothing drastically bad. Unfortunately, for the price you pay, it didn't meet expectations (vs. other Maldives resorts.) There were some aspects that were good. The communication from the reservations team, the seaplane lounge & arrangements were all seamless. The spa was nice, the service from staff was very good (especially after raising a complaint that one member of staff was inattentive / on their phones). They were flexible with check-in/out. The ice cream was great and so was the fresh fruit selection. Housekeeping did a good job. Mevin and a few other members of staff went above and beyond at times to try and ensure we had a good stay, that was very much appreciated. Unfortunately, the core proposition of the island needs to be improved, and any level of service cannot rectify this.

Unfortunately, for the price you pay, it didn't meet expectations. We've stayed at other Maldives resorts (for cheaper), and they provided a better experience. Overall, it's quite a busy resort (with lots of package holidayers) and seems to have rested on its laurels. Few points: - There is no beach service whatsoever at the main beach. The beach is lovely (massive) with loungers and big umbrellas, but it is such an effort when you have to traipse 300m just to get a drink of (warm) water/ice tea / soft drinks. No staff come around to clear the tables so you end up having to take plates/glasses back yourself or just have a pile up during the day. At the very least for a 5 star resort there should be beach service - even as simple as staff getting you towels (rather than you getting them yourselves and having to put them away) - At a 5 star resort, I don't want to have to get up early to 'reserve' a lounger. This is what you expect at a resort in Spain, not the Maldives. At 8am, already there were loungers reserved. There is only 4 lounge spaces near the pool on the beach (which is near the only place you can get fresh drinks during the day by the beach) that get reserved so quickly. - Overall, the facilities were quite poor / run down. The restaurant looks extremely dated and desperately needs a refresh. This is the area people spend a significant proportion of time each day so it needs to look nice. It doesn't. It is dark, an unappealing. Management should look at other resorts (which also are no-shoes policies) that have a much more appealing restaurant / bar. Small things, even the chair cushions are uncomfortable, cheap faux-leather. Pillars in the restaurant are falling apart / dirty - The gardening / maintenance of the property is extremely poor. Walkways are not swept regularly, the beaches are not combed (neither the sand in the restaurant is regularly raked).
