The staff was very nice, welcoming, helpful. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, museums. The breakfast had a nice selection with fresh fruit, bread, cheese, coffee. The bathroom in my room was renovated, clean, modern.
The room felt very closed in with old, dark furniture. It felt like a dorm room. Vienna was very hot this summer and the room didn't have air conditioning (although they provided a fan). Even though I didn't spend a lot of time during the day in the room, it was not a room that I liked to come back to at night. It felt overpriced for the level of comfort.

This is not a complaint. The room has two narrow beds at opposite ends of the room. We enjoyed the idea, but if you need to be together this isn’t the place for you.

Very very clean, and while amenities are basic, comfortable and quiet. You cannot beat the location. Breakfast good too. They provided a fan given the heat wave which I appreciated.
Struggled a bit to find it in the dark, and met another couple who said the same. None of the people around in the square appear to know of it. No iron as far as I could see.
