Hotel desperately needs updating

The staff were friendly and the location was ok

The hotel is in a poor state of repair. Carpets were loose on the stairs, the bathroom sink was cracked, the bathroom tiles were damaged and the bed wasn't level.

I wouldn’t stay here again under any circumstance

Nice location if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful

It’s dated, worn and lifeless. The heating wasn’t working in my room, I then changed room which was no bother but then had a 'drainage' smell coming from the bathroom. The bed was also uncomfortable so I ended up having a really poor nights sleep

lost down a long and winding,country road .

Best bit was when the continental breakfast ( which was sparse to say the least and I was tehonly diner - just one place laid for me ! ) was compensated by a great waiter who offered me a bacon bap. Without that I would have nothing nice to say . Bed was good & large and comfy - when it warmed up !

This has all the appearance of a hotel that went bust and is now trying resuscitation. I had an executive room - it was Freezing cold, aircon not working. one of two electric heaters eventually warmed up the bedroom. In the morning the place was swarming with electricians and gas fitters etc. Miles away from Worcester.

Large room, quiet, comfortable beds

Rooms a bit tired, lots of luggage scratches. Continental breakfast was v poor and never been near the continent! A few cereals, fruit yogurt and uninteresting toast, tea or coffee.

Staff friendly, easy check in/out, Large room. Shower pressure great!

-The room was clean enough, some dust on top of surfaces etc, but nothing concerning. -Bathroom could do with a refresh. -Rooms look a little dated (stain on the carpet) but overall fine. -Large TV in the room.

Slightly overpriced rooms

Reception staff on arrival was very pleasant and welcoming. Great venue for an event. Only one staff member was present at breakfast time who was very pleasant. But the area didn’t look quite ready to serve although a pre booked time slot was chosen.

The bed was not the comfiest. Room had all the amenities but shower gel was slotted in to the wash basin area outside the bath which was awkward when you needed a good shower.

Disappointing bar the curry !

The adjoining Gurkha restaurant served a very good curry and the staff there, were very welcoming and friendly

NO english breakfast... £8 for toast and cereal. Booking.com advert still included full english/irish ?? Cold water in shower At check out, the receptionist could barely make eye contact, or communicate...and did not even ask how my stay was.

Nice quiet stay with adequate facilities.

Nice building and nice interior. Coffee shop was nice and modern with a nice atmosphere and staff.

Felt the building was slightly tired and needed a bit of maintenance - painting etc. No power sockets by the dressing table so unable to use hair dryer by the mirror. No hook on bathroom door to hang dressing gown etc.

The location and the courteous staff

Booked the accommodation because it included a full English breakfast that had to be paid for on arrival the night before. When we arrived, we were informed that a full English breakfast would not be available but a continental breakfast would be. I expressed my disappointment at this and the fact we weren't informed of the change. We then went to see what we could have for our evening meal and the only available food was from the menu of the in-house Indian restaurant. The so-called continental breakfast was no more than cereal and toast with token yoghurts and bananas. Very disappointing

Bit dated and not as clean as would expect. Skirting’s and air vents dusty. Breakfast very basic were informed no cooked was available only cold buffet. Only cereal toast and yogurt no croissants or pastries etc.

Very nice place, poor man in respect of it facilities

The property was very pleasant very well designed but trying to get a drink in the bar at 2:30 was impossible. as jt didn’t open until 5 , the tea room took priorities and becomes a restaurant at five an Indian restaurant which was okay but it wasn’t the best food in the world.

Not a lot really. Room was warm and clean.

We chose this property as we had long drive from Scotland and wanted to stay somewhere we could have a nice meal and a drink at the bar. As per website we phoned up and booked a table for dinner at 7pm 2 days prior to our arrival. When we arrived there was an envelope with our room cards at reception. The restaurant appeared to be closed so we knocked on the duty manager’s door with no answer then phoned the duty manager to be told the restaurant and bar were closed for the next 2 days. Could give no reason why our booking was able to be made when it was closed. Very disappointed then to have to drive into Worcester for dinner when had we known we would have booked to stay in Worcester.
