Very poor service

Appeared lovely on the advertisement but once there the room was definitely below superior double. It was equal to a poor B&B in the uk. The room was cold when we arrived and the heating had not been turned on in the room. We had to turn the radiator on and leave it a while before the room warmed up. We were asked not to come to the front of the hotel or ring the bell to enter as the proprietor would have to be disturbed to come and let us in. We were told to walk along the road to an ally were we walked along in the dark to a gate to the car park and then go through the back door! Not what you would expect when paying to stay in a hotel. The breakfast was appalling ! I was brought a supposedly fresh fruit salad which was inedible, it consisted of old apple and kiwi fruit which was obviously left over and was brown and fermented due to its age. We were still charged for it! My husband had cheese and meats which looked like it was left overs and was processed meat. We had no tea or coffee making facilities and when we asked if this was available we were told no but could order some in reception when we returned to the hotel. When we went to the hotel after our outing we went to reception and there was no one available to request a drink. We were told the following day to go outside the front door to ring the bell to get their attention. The hotel advertised a bar yet there was nothing and again we had to go out each time to get a drink. The very very small pool is in another building outside and appeared very isolated from the rest of the hotel. We were also asked for £100 deposit which would be returned in case we destroyed the room…. We are in our 60s and have never experienced this in any other holiday resort. Would we ever go again…. Absolutely NOT

Easy hotel in a great location

The hotel is in an excellent location in the middle of Beuzeville within a short walking distance to several restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was plenty of parking in a gated area at the back of the hotel. We had a room overlooking the garden at the back and it was very comfortable and quiet. The continental breakfast was delicious and generous. We would highly recommend the hotel as a base for exploring Normandy.

There was nothing we didn't like but some guests might want to have tea and coffee making facilities in their room.

Good value for money with expensive breakfast and attitude issue

Great location during our roadtrip. The young man who checked us in was super friendly. We were delighted being able to use the pool and added bonus was the private parking Bed was comfy too.

As we had booked the hotel a year in advance for our road trip, we called 2weeks prior to confirm all was OK with our rooms. The man accused my 70th mum of not trusting them. He even told her we would find out on arrival when asked if there was parking. No tea or coffee facilities. When asked downstairs if we could get boiling water before breakfast, we were told no. Breakfast was OK. Would have liked more variety of cheeses and hams (I mean come on! They are near Camembert and Pont L'Eveque). The eggs 'parfait' (only hot food served) were not fully cooked (before the owner says anything, myself and my husband have worked in hospitality for years!!!). When asked what these eggs were, he said they were parfait (perfect in French) as he is the one making them lol Not sure why this man is working in a hotel if he doesn't seem to like people. Makes no sense! In the morning, we tried accessing the pool via the big sliding door. It was closed so we asked the same man and he showed us the sign to the pathway. We obviously missed it. He then said he would make the sign bigger for the next day! Hotel was nice but his attitude is damaging it more than anything! What a shame.

Pet friendly and free parking.

I didn’t like the initial checkin because we couldn’t make it before 8 pm so we had to rush there 34 minutes away in the dark to get the key. The bathroom facilities are old, the room decor is ugly and no interior designer was involved. Black walls, red art, red bed head rest. Lighting in the bathroom is terrible and there was no heat in the room. Nor was anyone around to even ask a question. The excuse of either not enough staff or Covid seems to be the trend so they don’t have to clean your room but charge the same amount. I paid for a larger room. If this was larger I’d like to see small. Never anyone around to ask what the wifi access code was.

The blinds in the rooms are awkward, and if you open them to open the windows you have no privacy. Also as the blinds have runners on the sides you can’t fully open the windows either.

Un week-end tout en détente

Hôtel situé en centre ville et au calme. Lieu propice à la détente avec l'accès privé au spa et l'accès illimité à la piscine. Merci pour le reclassement dans la chambre côté jardin qui est au calme, confortable et pratique pour accéder à la piscine, au spa. Le parking privé, sécurisé est aussi appréciable.

Réserver son créneau pour l'accès privé au spa au moins 72h avant.

Très bien sauf la salle de bain

La piscine est très agréable.

La salle de bain n'était pas du tout à la hauteur du reste. Une petite baignoire avec un vieux rideau qui colle au fesses et un robinet plus que mal installé. La lunette des toilettes trop petite et la chasse d'eau qui s'écoule en continu. Vraiment rien n'allait dans cette salle de bain. Dommage car le reste était très bien.

La piscine est très sympa, alternative au lait de vache pour les intolérants comme moi, j’ai pu accéder à ma chambre 1h avant l’heure prévue en demandant à l’avance (pour une réunion en visio)

Tous les articles ne sont pas en buffet au petit déjeuner (pain, viennoiseries), il y a peu de choix. Ma chambre n’a pas été faite le 1er jour car je n’étais pas sorti avant 12h

Hotel très bien placé, un accueil sympathique et pro. Une jolie déco de Noël dans un petit salon très cosy. Le jardin est tres bien entretenu, la piscine est très bien et propre. ( serviettes et claquettes a dispo)

Nous avons passé une très bonne nuit. Helas nous avons été surpris d'apprendre que l'hôtel n'a pas d'ascenseur.( nous aurions demandé une chambre é rez de chaussée) Juste une petite remarque : une bouilloire à disposition dans la chambre serait un plus.

La privatisation du sauna et du spa. La piscine et le charme de la pièce. L'eau était chaude et il faisait bon dans la pièce ! Très agréable en ce mois de décembre. Le style et décoration de l'hôtel. Le salon et petit déjeuner ! Chambre confortable.

Beaucoup d'humidité visible dans la pièce (peinture qui ce décolle, toile plastique sur le mur pour travaux ?) du spa sauna . J'imagine très difficile à limiter avec les vapeurs et éclaboussures du spa bien sûr.

Un accueil catastrophique et agressif. On s'est fait engueulé parce que nous avions réservé par booking .....pourquoi alors ce patron continu à enregistrer son établissement à ce site.....l'agressivité continue quand il faut bloquer une empreinte de carte , puisque nous n'avions que le téléphone pour enregistrer notre carte. Nous voyageons beaucoup, mais nous n'avions jamais vu un tel accueil. Impossible d'annuler puisque tout le séjour était déjà payé. Petit parking
