We had a wonderful stay at Il Castagnolino. The location is stunning, surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan countryside and only a short drive from San Gimignano. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, providing the perfect place to relax. The hosts were extremely welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh local products and a lovely atmosphere. The views at sunrise and sunset were unforgettable. We truly appreciated the authentic Tuscan experience and would gladly return.
There was very little to dislike. The countryside location is part of its charm, so having a car is helpful. Other than that, everything met or exceeded our expectations.

Wonderful setting - lovely, clean room with air conditioning. Fabulous buffet breakfast (outside) and a fabulous local Tuscan evening 4 course meal (additional charge make sure you book in advance). Lovely pool area.

Small country house with fabulous view of San Gimignani and countryside. Breakfast and dinner are beyond words… would come again.
I recommend to buy their homemade marmelade and olive oil.

The breakfast was very good and made with local produce. The rooms were quite big and comfortable. It is located in the countryside on a farm and therefore very quiet and peaceful.
There were no coffee and tea facilities in the room. They could be a little more generous with the shower gel and shampoo sachets.
