Hotel Pax Opera

Excellent location, lovely staff. I chose this hotel as it offered en suite single rooms. Rooms were very compact but bed was comfortable and a good size

Breakfast isn't included in the price. Not the hotels fault, it was my misunderstanding. Room had everything you need but shower was very small

It was very clean. The breakfast was very nice for 15 euros per person. The ac was great. The staff were very nice. The location was very good; in a short walking distance from the subway station and close to many bars and restaurants.

The bathroom was not updated; it was old style bathtub and the water pressure was low; the water temperature also was getting less and less warm during the shower. The elevator was very small so if you travel with few suitcases then you need to transfer them in few trips with the elevator.

The location is great walkable distance from restaurants and shopping areas

The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful.

At the time of booking I saw pictures that were not of the room nor the hotel. Turns out the gym is not in-house but around the block in another partner hotel. This is clearly not what I expected. They did kindly organise access but I had to run down the street, a block and half, to get to it. Kindly ensure all pictures on booking.com platform reflect the actual property and room one is booking. I'm treating it as a one off, a repeat of this will force me to look elsewhere.
