The rooms are comfortable and most staff are attentive, but a severe lack of attention to detail ruined our stay. We were given a room with a broken AC. Because the room was completely sealed with no fresh air, the intense humidity caused my mother to panic, feel claustrophobic, and struggle to breathe. Though we were eventually upgraded to a better room, we wasted our entire night moving all our luggage in the middle of the night. We kept juggling between rooms from 2:30 AM to 6:00 AM. Advice to Management: You must test all ventilation and AC systems before charging guests or letting anyone into a room. In airtight hotels, a total lack of air is a serious medical and safety hazard. Do not wait for a tragedy to happen before making room inspections mandatory.

Bad odor when entered the room. No Ventilation in the Lifts. Room Service / Housekeeping reluctance to provide water bottles (had to repeatedly ask for them). Same with Tea/Coffee refills. Perhaps they are not trained to provide adequate for 2 persons in Double Occupancy rooms. Restaurant Billings not charged to room. Overall, have to rethink before booking again when want to have business meetings in hotel. IHG Membership does not have significant relevance.
