Good location hotel with limited facilities

Location

Wellness is paid and even we can’t enter the swimming pool without paying. Also kids under 16 can never go in swimming pool. Also breakfast spread was limited and average. No changes in the menu for 5 consecutive days. I don’t think it’s a hotel for family visits.

Nice location, spatious, clean. 24/7 fitness.

I don’t understand the point of renting an apartment without the dishes (try want separate 35 eur for the dishes.. apart of 600 eur for 2 nights). We brought or own, but still I don’t get it. Also, very unpleasant - no one under 16 (or 18.. dont know exactly) is allowed to enter the spa. My 8y.o. daughter was on some serious trainings before we arrived and she was looking forward to swim a bit and use the sauna to relax the muscles (she does it regularly). But she was banned from the spa, so no one of us used it. I believe they could have a few hours daily for everybody.

Great room size with large comfortable bed. Wellness spa was amazing and good value. Restaurant and food was excellent. Really good location with nice walks overlooking the sea. Most staff really polite and helpful

Things to improve: Better visibility of the no swimwear policy on the website, this info should be highlighted on the main page! Also to mention that no swimwear policy apply to wellness + indoor + outdoor pool For us it was a big dissaiponment as we booked the hotel for Bday weekend, but was not aware of the policy, so we did not use the facility Was impossible to reach the hotel by phone on the Sunday evening 8:30. The phone had some automated answer in Dutch and after it wents to ringing -forewer with no answer.. Tables at breakfast area, 30 min before the end of the breakfast, was full of dirty dishes. We had to search for an empty table, also to set it up by ourselves. You provide a coffee machine and kettle in the room with a paper cups! Really!? Normal cup and at least a small spoon would fit better to your ****

A correct hotel but a bit overpriced

Correct hotel with nice bar. We were on the bike trip and it was a practical stay. The surrounding is nothing special. The hotel is a big complex, with spa for extra fee, which we did not use. The room and the bed were comfortable. The personnel is nice.

I would not spend a long holiday there but for a bike trip, the stop was practical.

Great location very close to the beach. Chef was very kind and helpful when we had questions about the breakfast.

We were given a room with no sunlight. The balcony had been covered with large panels. Music from the terrace was annoying. Room was not very clean (stains on the chairs, spiderwebs on the ceiling), and in the bathroom, paint was coming loose from a door handle.

4 star room, 1 star experience

Large room, actually a one bedroom apartment.

Although the room had a proper kitchen there was only a kettle and paper cups and wooden sticks to make drinks. No proper cups or glasses or proper cutlery. There was a full size fridge but nothing in it. A cheaper B&B would have provided a complimentary bottle of water and some milk but here there was nothing. When my wife went to ask for some milk, the staff member asked whether she was from housekeeping and then made a kind of apology when told that she was a guest. The way he did it managed to be insulting both to her and to his colleagues. Milk was provided and charged to the room and was €7.80...All this in a €185 hotel. In summary, must try harder. This was our first night in a Fletcher Hotel (at the start of a 16 day tour of Flanders and Zeeland) and it will be our last

Beautiful resport with all facilities, close to beach.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. All was good. Not very luxurious. Bedrooms not very big, but it serves the purpose. Close to the beach is a big plus. Bicycling distance to Veere and Middelburg. Many beaches.

Nothing really. Interestingly, there was a nice kitchen in the apartment but no equipment. Not even a knife or glass. All to be rented for € 25. Very strange. Even then nothing to clean the kitchen or soap for the dishwasher.

It was my second stay in this hotel (the first one was almost perfect) but this time my "deluxe room" has not even got a tiny balcony, soap dispenser in room were empty or out of order and only few small towels available in the room.

We picked this hotel for its facilities and the rather good reviews but let me tell you…worst experience ever. The staff was rude, rooms were overbooked, the service was not helpful and the spa, even if its facilities are amazing, it is not for everyone as you are not allowed to wear a swimsuit. We left the hotel earlier to go to another one called Badhotel Domburg..and what a change! The hotel was beautiful, very welcoming and the service was amazing.

Disorganised and somewhat incapable staff. Bellow average breakfast. Dirty carpet, not only in the hallways but also in the rooms. Cigarette butts left in ashtray on our private balcony, etc. Staircases in spa area needs a deep scrub and anti-slip strips re-doing. Maintenance is lacking overall.

Restaurant-bar area is nice, renovated, big balcony, a bit softer mattress than anticipated, but no problems for my back

You have to pay for plates and knives in apartment, grey cheap toilet paper, old used and washed many times towels, no remote controller for TV which automatically switches on with room card, sign Do not order thuisbezorg (so cheap move to force people est in restaurant), visibly dirty glasses on breakfast, rotten cheese, dry omelette, not working elevator, there was no paper menu in a bar and online version didn’t work at all - staff is aware about this, but don’t do anything
