    The hotel sea view, location, staff, and the cleanliness were exceptional. Above all the Turkish history and culture are worth knowing. Weather was amazing. Love Turkey and Turkish people and wish to visit again.

    I stayed at The Golden City Hotel for three nights, and overall, I had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is in a very convenient location, especially for public transportation. The metro line is right next to the hotel, and the T1 tram line is also within walking distance. There is a metro stations nearby, making it very easy to explore different parts of Istanbul. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants around the hotel, many of which remain open even late at night. One of the highlights of the hotel is its amazing rooftop. The views from the rooftop are beautiful, both in the morning and in the evening, and it was definitely one of my favourite parts of the stay. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety of options. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and both the check-in and check-out processes were very quick and smooth. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at The Golden City Hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and conveniently located hotel in Istanbul.

    Unfortunately, the overall experience at this hotel was far below expectations, both in terms of service and accommodation quality. The rooms are noticeably worn out and poorly maintained. The bathrooms lack proper equipment and basic amenities, while the refrigerator is extremely small and does not even function properly. These are basic facilities that guests should not have to complain about. What made the experience even more disappointing was the attitude of the staff. They were far from welcoming, often displaying arrogance and a complete lack of professionalism. Their limited English proficiency also resulted in inappropriate remarks and uncomfortable interactions with guests. Mr. Ali, the Marketing Manager, was particularly disappointing. His dismissive, condescending, and arrogant attitude was completely unacceptable, especially from someone holding a managerial position in the hospitality industry. The hotel management seriously needs to reconsider its standards, improve room maintenance, and invest in proper customer service training. Hospitality is not simply about providing a room; it is about making guests feel welcomed, respected, and valued. Unfortunately, this hotel failed to deliver on these basic expectations.
