The porridge i ordered was nice but didn't have the fruit as it said on the in room menu description,only the honey. The cooked breakfast was good, just needed some sauces..

Lovely Hotel

Well run, very clean excellent food and a very competitive price

Other guests being noisy on our stay but that’s not the fault of the hotel. Some people just don’t respect others!

Only stayed for a quick visit to Skegness, would definitely recommend this hotel.

Size of room was bigger than average, bathroom was like new with a modern style. Facilities within the hotel were better than most. Restaurant food and drink were better than expected. Staff were excellent during our visit.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Skegness and overall had a good experience.

One of the things I really liked was the location it was close to the seafront and good distance of shops, restaurants, and the pier, which made exploring the city very easy. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the friendly attitude of the staff, especially at reception, who were helpful

Breakfast was acceptable but fairly basic and didn’t feel worth the price. Could of catered for vegan dietary Overall, it was an okay stay, but with a few improvements it could be much better.

Pleasant Stay

The reception was very helpful and welcoming. Everything was explained and informative but mostly friendly. The room was of a good size clean and well equipped. Had a good night's sleep, plus a good breakfast in the dining area. Cosy bar with good seating and a very pleasant bar person. Nothing was too much trouble for all the staff on duty to make our stay pleasant.

Perfect, relaxed, woke upto snow which was nice, lovely breakfast and will definitely stay again!

The room was lovely and warm and bathroom was perfect, on one side of the main bed it had a hole/dent so partner slept in a dipped mattress The pillows and everything else were very comfy but maybe time for new mattresses The breakfast was brilliant and all staff very friendly 😀

Pleasant stay

Room was ok i think it needs an update. I've been coming for years and always happy but i think it needs some tlc now although it is clean which is the main thing. Bed nice white linen but could do with better pillows breakfast was good just used to get Lincolnshire sausages now they have been replaced with cheap sausages !!!

It was cold in the room so I rang down to reception and they offered to move us but i couldn't be bothered and it was ground floor and i like upper floor so they sent up a blow fan and it soon warmed up with that on. And the chair was stained which i think should be cleaned !!!

The bathroom was poor, the shower control for the heat was stuck and quite hot, the towel rail didn’t work, it was a wet room but after one shower it was flooded, the mirror was old and bits broken off it, there was a stool in there but it was very dirty, not sure what was on it we didn’t use it, the plug for the sink didn’t fit and the tap would only turn one way. The mattress was comfortable but the edges very hard could do worth something to soften the edges. Carpet was grubby and windows drafty.

First time staying , would come back for the food and the setting. Good value for money

The entrance has the wow factor. The setting with the water is tranquil. The food was tasty. The bed was comfy.

Room 202 is next to the stairs and looks out onto the beer garden where it’s lit up all night long = Disturbed sleep. The toilet doesn’t flush easily and the plug in the sink doesn’t open fully.

Room booking let down

We use this hotel twice a year to attend a weekend music event. We decided to stay the extra Thursday night to relax from a long journey. Before leaving the event, we book the next stay and request the same room. We like the rooms that overlook the lake rather than a car park. I spoke to the hotel two days before travel to see if they had linked our Thursday night to our weekend stay and hopefully have the same room so we didn’t have to move on the Friday morning. We were told this had been done. We arrived and checked in. We headed up to the room and discovered we were at the other end of the corridor. Opposite side overlooking the car park and not the room we had reserved. I returned to reception and upon asking, was told our requested room was out of order due to a broken bed. At no point, on the phone, or at check in were we informed of this. I asked if we could have a room near our original one and was told there were none available. I was told to ask at reception the next morning to see if anything could be done to move us. ( I would have thought a quick check would tell them who was checking out the next day). We decided not to unpack just in case. Next morning, I spoke to reception who managed to move us to the room next door to our original one. I heard the receptionist say to their colleague that the room was vacant and to let room service know of the change. Hearing this I asked why we had been told there was nothing available and not been given that room. I was told that a few rooms are kept free incase there are any problems. My response was, well there was a problem, so why weren’t we offered that room? Received No explanation.

The breakfast was lovely fruit,yogurt,fruit juices porridge with honey, cereals eggs bacon sausage mushrooms tomatoes and beans and June our waitress was great very quick service and kept everything topped up she’s a diamond, comfy bed and clean towels and room serviced every day

Drainage in bath while having a shower water didn’t run away fast so we were paddling in it and terrible flush on the toilet wasn’t powerful enough we had to keep flushing it, told desk staff on day we left so should be addressed by now hopefully

Easy to find and lots of free parking. Very good sized room and bathroom. Very good breakfast buffet

The building is in need of some general maintenance but the public areas are spacious and have been recently refurbished.
