Took ages to find as it is called simply stay and healthy stay nursing home. Room was ok but would not stay there again
    8 / 10Excellent·Aug 2026
This was a Nursing home called Simply Stay not Premier Hotel as advertised. The staff on the reception said it had been taken over by them but no where anywhere did it say Premier Hotel. Bed was very stained with god knows what, we had to sleep on the floor. Not a good idea either as stained as well. Shower cubicle was mouldy, hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Paint peeling off 3 out of 4 walls the other wall had half been painted with a roller. Curtains were stained and we couldn’t open the window as it had been smashed and was boarded up. No towels in the room had to go and ask for them. Overall very dissatisfied and won’t be going back. Premier Hotels need to look at this situation and provide a full refund as we weren’t offered what we paid for. Again on your website advertised as Premier hotel but was Simply stay as advertised on other sites.

This is now called Simply stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. it's not the cleanest or most luxurious place but for a short stay it is fine. We have stayed before and will do so again. Near to town, quiet and free parking all plusses for us.

Staff were very helpful and the hotels location was great. However the room was very dated and hot water wasn't present, sorry.
