The Cumberland, London

The hotel is located in a very convenient area, with lots of shops, restaurants and bus and tube stops nearby. The hotel is large, but beautiful and very clean. The room was extremely comfortable, with very nice amenities, a super bed, coffee and tea service, and air conditioning that WE controlled. The breakfast was excellent. Every possible variety of breakfast foods were available, to satisfy every taste. The staff were all so sweet, helpful, and professional of course, that breakfast was a lovely experience.

Nothing -- we loved it all. The price is expensive, of course, but we expect to pay more for this high level of service and facilities.

The location is superb for everything! access is great and the breakfast choice very good.

Location great for shops, Marble Arch, Hyde Park and very close to a tube station. Door staff very friendly and hotel very clean and well presented. Hell's Kitchen was the highlight of our stay - Hell's kitchen staff absolutely brilliant and very attentive and the food was gorgeous - would highly recommend the Beef Wellington!

Receptionist not overly friendly nor welcoming when we first arrived and was told our room was not ready so we left our bags and returned an hour later. A different lady was much more helpful then when we went to our room we found we had twin beds instead of a king size so immediately rang down for this to be sorted - nothing happened so gave up waiting and had to live with it. The hotels customer service seems to have dropped in standards from when it was The Hard Rock Hotel. The sound bar staff were not at all attentive and certain waiters seemed more interested in chatting up the young ladies rather than serve other guests that are waiting!
