It was beautiful, quiet, peaceful and perfect for what we needed
Room was a little dated, the carpet was balding in places and the shower was a bit faulty. But it really didn’t ruin the experience for us

Good location, great gatehouse place away from the main hotel, parking is also good. Barry in the gatehouse was beautiful and pillows and bed very comfortable
The only thing for me was the menu which I was ok but my wife being a vegetarian and pescatarian who can’t eat pasta or rice it was an issue

Loved the Junior Suite Room was clean and shower big and good. Great location. Staff were friendly. Good breakfast
Some general areas were quite worn. The patio outside was pebbles and very dusty.

Grand looking building, nice size room.. beautiful grounds Helpful reception William who kindly put an extra fan in room.
No A/C, couldn't regulate shower. Roasting hot and one of the hotest days. Window didn't open as both sash cords broken...bit like a gillotine fridge needed to be unplugged as over heating.. bedroom door not fire regulated as broken smoke seals non existing.. safety for humans has to be paramount. Not sure these important thing's take priority . Probably wouldn't stay again
