We love this hotels old fashioned charm the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for us. However this time the temperature was unusually high and our room didn’t have air conditioning which made sleeping very uncomfortable. We realise of course this is a very old property so maybe we will stick to booking this in the winter months.
More plug sockets in the bedrooms.

The staff are always super helpful, it’s a small friendly hotel.
Wish there was a hand held shower head or shower instead of a bath.

Great location loads of character Some of the front of house staff excellent
Like a sauna, v noisy and barman ignored us whilst we stood there for 5 minutes
