    We stayed in this hotel to go to an event at Silverworks Island and this is the perfect location for that. We had a room that looked over the event so could have stayed in the room. We come up to these often and usually stay in the premier inn next door but it was fully booked. The hotel was lovely and felt like a step up from the PI. The breakfast lounge is really pretty and the breakfast options are great and good quality. As it was a nice morning we had a coffee outside after breakfast which was really nice. The only thing that frustrated me was the lifts, the first time we left the room I forgot something so tried to go back up. I had to wait for a lift for ages (there doesn’t appear to quite be enough or they are set in an odd way as there was often a queue) I got in with others and then when they got out I realised my key didn’t work in the lift so it took me all the way back down to reception and I had to get my key re-set as it wasn’t working. This happened twice more and after you have queued for the lift it’s a bit frustrating to find your key doesn’t work so you have to go back to reception and then get to the back of the queue. I asked reception why it kept happening and he looked at me like I had 2 heads. Other than that small frustration a great stay and a lovely hotel!

    a bit far from city center, and in the eastern part of London (not very sought after area) so if you are ok with the location, then its for you
