An amazing 'value for money' stop-over with really wonderful staff

....certainly a first, the access corridor is 'outside, as a balcony. But don't let this put you off, the massive window lets in lots of daylight (privacy courtesy of a net curtain). There is also an inner porch. The room had the essential 'kettles for a brew. Bed, really comfy. Bathroom, has a shower/bath, nice hot water with it. This is a 70's style place but for a stop-over it is perfect and hits all the essential criterion - notably comfort, solid walls and floors (so peaceful/quiet), a good size bathroom, a workweek and a table for your case. The breakfast was a really nice, traditional continental breakfast (I took my own tea-bag though). Really nice and pleasant breakfast staff on hand (which is so nice). This place has a bar (but closes at 9.30), but they allow you to take drinks back to the room (so a win/win). I had a solid, undisturbed sleep and left with a full tummy. What more did I need for a stop-over.

....an initial first impression of the place being 'dated'...but once i got over my own personal snobbery and arrogance and started appreciating the facilities, comfort and cleanliness of the room then I am struggling to find any fault....if I push it then maybe you may get a tad wet going for breakfast if its raining...but thats about it.

This hotel belong to the type of prefabricated hotel quite common in France but unlike most of them, it was reformed and become very pleasant. The hotel was staffed at night by a pleasant receptionist. Over average breakfast for this kind of hotel. Enough free parking places.

Isolated location, not so comfy if u arrive late and want to order some food (hotel restaurant was not operating at the time of the trip). No elevator, a bit uncomfortable. Very bad wifi, weak signal, unacceptable for this price.

Exactly what we needed for a brief stop over on a long journey

Great value for money for a stop over required half way on a long 8 hour journey. Clean and tidy. Basic but was not expecting anything more for what we were paying. We arrived late and left early so perfect for a bed to rest your head for a night. Very polite lady checked us in without any trouble and confirmed directions to the buffet restaurant we had found on Google. Breakfast was very good for an early 6:30 start. Buffet style and just what we needed.

Good for an overnight stay, but needs maintenance

Breakfast was great. It did include kiwis, which is wonderful. Hotel staff was very friendly and spoke English very well. Rooms were clean. Good wifi speed and stable connection.

Maintenance. The hotel really needs a good painter. The ceiling of the shower showed some black fungus, a sign of bad maintenance and poor ventilation. Also, the pillows could be larger. Wiring of the electric heater is unsafe.
