Hôtel Château d'Eau

The bed linen and bed was great, also Diptyque body wash/care was a pleasant surprise.

The lobby seems really old, needs a refresh, and the location I didn't feel safe as a single woman going out by myself.

The property was very stylish

The location was great, nice details interior wise. Lobby looks really nice for example. Some of the staff were also really kind and helpful

From the pictures I expected a more luxurious feel. Looks a bit more outdated rather than modern. The hotel and rooms are captured well online but in real life it doesn’t feel luxurious. Personally I feel like it’s a bit overpriced. Walls are quite thin, you can hear the cleaners in the morning for example. Bathroom is really really small. And the bathroom door has tinted windows so when you have to use the bathroom the rest of room lights up, waking up the other person. You only get one key which is inconvenient and you have to hand it in when you leave your hotel room. I was a bit disappointed overall by the appearance of the hotel, it was one of the reasons of the booking. I love to find places that are inspiring.
