Very homely, classy, fantastic location, friendly staff

The shower was too tiny for me…. My wife was fine

Service was good. We enjoyed the afternoon tee. Although the hotel was close to nightclubs, we never heard any noise

The carpet on the stairs was worn down and the stairway was crooked

what i like about this hotel - pretty much every good thing about it is related to the location - 1. the location is absolutely superb - so so convenient. 2. the area of the hotel is generally pretty safe. 3. even though it's located in a pretty busy and convenient part of the city, it's luckily not loud or noisy at all. 4. the lady staff at the front desk were really nice and helpful and no communication problem.

so now to the downsides - 1. the size of the rooms are painfully small - but kind of what you expect for hotels in Pairs 2. hotel building is really really really old - the floor squeaks and the floor in our room is not even, furnitures in the room were old and need to retire. 3. the elevator in the hotel is super slow and small - we ended up just use the stairs even though we were staying at the top floor 4. the water pressure is pretty low - so it takes a while to finish showering 5. the bed is absolutely a pain 6. air conditioning in our room was not really well-functioning, it's so loud and doesn't get cold for hours. 7. the rooms are not so clean - it's acceptable if you are only there to sleep for a night or 2 but if you look closely you'll find everything half-cleaned (and half-not).
