A good relaxing over night stay

Breakfast was good, host good with an amusing rapport with us four cyclists. Host accommodated recharging eBike batteries. Host also booked the restaurant for our evening meal.

Secluded heaven.

Everything was perfect...location, quietness, cleanliness, atmosphere.

Would definitely visit again.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel was situated in a quiet location, but close to the seafront and several restaurants (although we preferred those in the nearby Carteret). There was ample parking outside the Hotel.

Although fresh croissant and baguette were provided each morning and there was lots of yoghurt, cheese and ham, we do like to have a mixed fruit salad at breakfast, which was not available. The owners were most attentive and lots of coffee and orange juice was provided.

Top marks for a well-run establishment

Comfortable two night stay in this bed and breakfast hotel near Barneville beach. Excellent attention to cleanliness eg careful breakfast table clearance. Friendly, professional owners with high standards. Breakfast attractively presented. Room immaculate. We were glad we had booked our evening meals in advance: one in Barneville and one in Carteret.

it was very clean, newly decorated. location could have been better (i.e. seafront), but it would have cost twice as much. parking no problem. the owners were lovely and full of useful information. only a short drive to Cherbourg to catch the ferry. really good value for money.

the property was very well presented and occupied a quiet location close to the sea. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The room was a good size and nicely decorated, with a good clean bathroom. very happy with our one night stay.

Made a delightful end to our stay in France

The breakfast was excellent. Plenty choice and the croissant and bread were delicious. Also we had a jugs coffee and tea, not the usual small French cup.The dining room was light and airy with a welcoming atmosphere.

Nothing. For a one night stay it was ideal. One thing - and it is purely personal, I don't like a hand held shower.

The owner stored our bicycles for us in his garage. Also gave us biscuits for our journey when we left - a nice touch!

Excellent location next to the beach. Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast. The owners kindly recommended an excellent fish restaurant 'Le Cap' even though they have 'Les Iles' restaurant on the beach, which doesn't do fruits-de-mer.

Excellent! Amazing! Wonderful! A real find, and well recommended to visitors who value service and quality

what an amazing find! A totally wonderful small and personal hotel, with owners in Marlene and Dom who pull out all the stops to make sure their guests are happy and well catered for. As someone who has very limited french vocabulary and grammar, they both did their very best to explain things, and to offer recommendations and support in both languages. The room I was in (18) was smaller, but not uncomfortably so, and was warm, clean, well appointed and decorated, and well ventilated, with a very comfortable bed. The breakfasts offered (unfortunately, owing to COVID, the buffet breakfast has been suspended) was plentiful, and offers of additional food and coffee were most welcome. The quality of the room and hotel, allied with the exceptional service and welcome offered by Dom and Marlene, really made my stay delightful. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who values class, service and discretion. Thank you Dom and Marlene. You have been amazing

Shame about the suspension of the buffet breakfast, but totally understandable why. I would have valued a small kettle within the room to make coffee, especially during the winter months, when he local cafes in the Plage area are closed, but this is, I fully accept, personal preference , and is only a very minor concern (I fully accept that I didn’t ask for a kettle)

Don’t come here if you want to eat out

Wi-fi a bit hit and miss but more hit on balance Main issue has nothing to do with the hotel. The district of Barneville Plage has no Restaurant facilities. There is a takeaway pizza option that is closed on Thursday. If you want to eat out and not drive stay in Carteret a couple of miles away where there are plenty options

Hôtel idéalement bien placé et au calme ! Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et vraiment sympathiques. Chambre spacieuse ( suite junior ) très confortable, lit d'excellente qualité. La propreté dans tout l'hôtel est vraiment irréprochable. Cela méritrait 1 étoile supplémentaire ! Points forts supplémentaires : Parking et wifi gratuits. (Sejour du 09 au 12 septembre 2025)

Excellent hôtel que je recommanderai à mon entourage

L'accueil très sympathique du gérant qui nous a fait choisir entre deux chambres qui étaient libres. De plus, il nous a décrit tous les sites touristiques à proximité de l'hôtel, ainsi que les restaurants facilement accessibles et renommés. Bref, un excellent accueil qui nous a permis de passer deux jours très agréables.
