Grand Mercure Bangalore - An Accor Brand

It's a hidden gem tucked away in a nice and quiet residential neighbourhood. Every unit is a small apartment, with a balcony, separate living room, dining area and kitchenette. The rooms are tastefully organised. I almost felt guilty for not using all the facilities and being there only for a night. Members of the staff were very friendly and helpful, right from the reception, to house keeping and then dining. I think it'll be a superb place to stay at for a few days and unwind. Almost a home away from home.

Nothing major. The room wasn't dirty but could have been cleaned better, especially with clumps of long hair flying around.

This was our second stay at the hotel and it was just as good as our earlier stay last year..the location, good breakfast and helpful and courteous interaction by the senior staff at the breakfast hall were all pluses..the quiet suite, away from the elevators and on the top floor were more pluses..the cleanliness and pleasant smell pervading the hallways were very satisfying and pleasing..

There was nothing this time..

Breakfast was superb. The Cheff was taling care of all special requests. The staff were very courteous and attended to the needs. Room service astaff was really good. Overall great hospitality. Front office manager was very helpfull and even extended our check out by 2 hours

Check in and front office friendliness can be litt;le more. Front office staff can be trained more to attend to well travelled senior guests. Missed the last mile even though they were quite proffessional.Even after settling the entire room bill in advance , front office was insisting on further deposits for running bills which was quite annoying which is unheard in my 40 years of travelling and 5 star hotel experience. Not that I cannot pay , but insistance is not a good way of hospitality. May be its hotel policy , can be reviewed.
