From 1/5 Star (Frustated first impression) to 4/5 stars (Impressing experience)

This is probably one of the most unusual reviews I have ever written. On the first day (check-in day), I went to bed fully intending to give this hotel 1 star and leave a negative review due to my initial frustration. The main reason I chose this hotel was the balcony and its view (according to the photos of THE ROOM WE CHOSE on Booking.com), and neither we nor our friends were given rooms with a balcony and view. This was extremely frustrating. However, throughout the week, we were truly impressed by how well we were treated by all the friendly staff, especially Adriana, Pietro, Micaela, Eleonora, Giuseppe (the owner), and Gerson. I don’t think I have ever been treated so well at a hotel by people who were genuinely happy and kind. Combined with the rest of the hotel’s excellent facilities (SPA, Garage to leave Ski Equip., Free Transportation to Slopes, etc…), it became impossible to give just 1 star. It was an incredible week, and this hotel is excellent (Specially if you get lucky and get the rooms with a balcony view)! I will definitely be back next year. Thank you from your Brazilian friend — you were amazing.

1: The room we received (me and my friends) did not have a balcony with a view. Either a balcony with the view of a roof as it was the last floor, ou no balcony at all and small windows. But I must say the room itself was very big and confortable. 2: The box to have a shower was impressively small.

A bit frustrating … with plumbing, noise and unexplained cost. Location fair and room pleasant. Food was quite good

Breakfast was good and most of the staff were helpful

The plumbing… shower not hot enough at first.. then after 2 days we were allowed to change rooms. The was a leak near the toilet which was blamed on the shower door, yet leak was dripping from above the toilet. Hotel was often cold Rooms very noisey until 11pm as guest with young children banged on doors and argue in the stairwell which as tiled so carried noise. Not being told about extra cost when ordering coffee for afternoon tea and eggs for breakfast

Couldn't have found a better place to experience Madonna Di Campiglio.

Absolutely everything. The hotel is very well located, within minutes walking from everything. The staff was incredibly charming and helpful, always smiling (Silvia, Aurora and others) and trying their best to help. The Owner was present daily and made sure to take time talking to every guest. The room was great, functional and cozy. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast, which was plentiful. Regarding extra activities, my daughter felt incredibly at ease in the Kids Park while we enjoyed some much needed resting time at the Spa. Having shuttles take you back and from the different Ski and Shopping locations was also extremely useful. This is what Italian Hospitality is all about.

Finding the hotel was a tiny bit difficult initially, so better signage could help.

We loved the spa. The rooms were very spacious and clean. We particularly loved the shuttle service to and from the gondola stations. Breakfast was amazing.

Definitely worth it and I will come back!

I went after Easter, arriving in the last day of the ski season, so the city and the hotel were not crowed. The staff was extremely sympathetic and efficiency (although few could not speak fluent English, they make the effort, they don't let you without an satisfactory answer). The hotel is very beautiful from inside, stays close to market and shoppings/restaurante. Breakfast was great (meat and cheese selections, fruits, cereals and pastry) . I got the simplest bedroom option and worth it (small fridge, tv, cozy bed and good shower), it has everything that one need when going for long hikes during the day and just want to relax afterwards. By the way, the spa area is perfect after long sport day (sauna, pool, showers). I really recommend to stay Hotel Chalet Del Brenta and i will definitely go back!

I read this critic before, so it is just to reinforce that the temperature of the room was too warm and one can not control the AC. I had to open the windows most of the time to kind of control the temperature inside the room (what is not so environment friendly). Maybe there is a reason for that, but i am not aware.

As soon as we entered the hotel, the staff greeted us with a bright smile, clean hotel, easy parking, allowed early check-in, and upgraded the room. The breakfast is also very good and all the staff in the hotel are really friendly. I recommend it.

Ski room too small; Restaurant Manager was borderline rude and arrogant. Worst piece was the first night they did not have enough rooms for our group even though our booking was confirmed. So two of the group members had to share for the first night.

Very good

We were surprised to have to pay extra to have fried eggs at breakfast. Also to pay extra to have orange juice in a glass. Also guests should be warned about the charges applied for the occasional receptions which are held at the hotel.

Tall people staying on the top floor (4) is problematic due to low ceiling in some rooms, one small elevator serving the entire hotel was inadequate at times

Staff extremelly friendly and professional. Great room service. Hotel is nicely furnished, great shuttle service to ski lifts. Bed comfortable. Great breakfast.

Unfortunately the hotel is very much taiored to families (with day care etc). While this is without doubt a great offering if you have kids, it made for a very noise and not at all relaxing stay. Lound parents and children first thing in the morning at breastfast, skiing room, in the corridors. Rooms have poor soundproofing. We were only able to really enjoy the spa once when we decided to go at 1pm (while most guests were skiing). Otherwise the pool area was constanly full of children and while they are not allowed in the sauna area, only a glass window separates the two areas so you could hear everything anyway. Hardly relaxing. We had also asked the staff to please keep the stairwell doors closed to help isolate the noise, but nothing was done to address this. We tried to spend as less as time as possible in the hotel, which was a real shame.

For the 4 star hotel in one of the famous Italian ski resort is unacceptable that hotel stuff has poor/limited knowledge of ENGLISH. Lack of translation to english on the breakfast of the served food and drinks, hotel stuff do not understand english and is not able to speak english!

the breakfast was excellent. staff we super nice and professional. we also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was really really great. it was a great suprise. food was delicious and very creative and prices were very reasonable

we didn't have body towels, and we asked 4 times to get them. never did :-( finally we just used the bathrope which is used for the sauna

Exceptional

I think this is the first hotel on Booking I rated with 10 on all criterias. Everything was perfect - spacious renovated room, large comfortable bed and incredible breakfast. Spa is also worth visiting after a day in the mountains. Would definetely stay again!

Short Stay

Hotel was on our route so suited us fine. Clean modern hotel. Food, chef and staff were superb and even made us something not on the menu! Hotel staff are all helpful and courteous. Room was great. Bathroom a little tight as we were on the top (4th) floor. An instruction manual to operate the sky window/light would have been great. No idea how to operate the blind. TV channels are a bit limited, only 4 if I recall. Otherwise good stay.

Great place for a relaxing 3-day stay

The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast - both sweet and savoury versions - was nice and sets you up for the day. Pool/Wellness area so relaxing. Sauna, steam bath, pool and showers. Great for unwinding. Dinner was delicious and presented very stylishly. We only paid for bed and breakfast so had to pay extra for the dinner but it's well worth the price. Good value for money. The staff were absolutely professional and courteous.
