The pool area was a little disappointing but since the hotel is so near the beach, this did not impact our stay.

We stayed at this realistically 3-star hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself has much potential: it’s clean, recently renovated, in a fantastic location - just a 2-minute walk to the beach and 20 minutes on foot to the old town. Breakfast was a highlight — both for the quality of the food and the outstanding service, especially from the people looking after the breakfast area, who were always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The breakfast itself was excellent, with plenty of variety and fresh options to start the day right.
However, all of this was overshadowed by one serious issue: the horrible smell coming from the bathroom and everywhere in the hotel. It was so strong and unpleasant that it made it almost impossible to breathe when inside, especially during the night, and unfortunately, it seeped into the room as well. This was not a minor inconvenience but something that genuinely affected our comfort and made it hard to relax in what should have been a great stay. This was extremely disappointing, given how well the hotel performs in every other aspect.
If the hotel can fix this unbearable problem, it would easily be a very good place to stay and would easily deserve higher marks. Unless this unbearable issue is fixed, the hotel cannot be recommended, though. The stench from the bathrooms — spreading through the entire hotel — was overwhelming and impossible to ignore.
