Hôtel La Vanoise

Paul made us feel very welcome and the hotel was great considering the price and star rating. Perfect for skiing as 10 metres from the lift !

In the center of the ski-through plaza with ton of restaurants and is short ski away from Boullin Lift which is free. Rooms feature oversized windows and balconies.

Property is outdated, but kept well. The air in the rooms gets super dry and they don’t have humidifiers or any sort of device to help make sleeping better. I had to run the shower for 30 min to improve humidity before sleep. Few other issues: 1. there’s no coffee or tea maker in the room, and to get hot tea you have to go down to the bar where there’s a charge for such service. 2. Restroom / bath are extremely small. But this is just because the hotel itself was built in the 80s.

The best ski in/out, so simple. Great location within Lac and everything on the doorstep. We liked the breakfast. Paul on reception is great.

Nothing really. Bathroom was small and dated but perfectly functional.

firstly, its on the slopes you can walk anywhere... and it snowed when i arrived =). i could walk out my door and ski anywhere or eat anywhere

the rude owner male , younger than me.... talkign over me... readign me the wifi code as if i was dumb sorry im older, wealthier and more traveled, i can read the wifi code.. i aske dcan i i park outside. he just goes on and and on.. i dont have time ...yes or no. .he then says.. you are not listening ???? please... the property needs to be upudated as well and there are no mini heaters, but i will be damned if a well educated woman will be talked down to by a dumb arrogant french owner who only lives there.. and trust me... i was always at every other french ski resort as i live in france... soo no oo .. and its overpriced ! i expect an apology
