    Perfectly positioned hotel in the heart of Marylebone with all the fabulous shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Hotel room was satisfactory, not overly modern but clean and with a very comfortable bed. Did not eat at the hotel or visit the bar so can’t comment on those.

    My wife and I stayed at Ten Manchester Street Hotel this week, and it was a pleasure to rediscover a hotel that has clearly stood the test of time. I first stayed here over ten years ago, and I’m delighted to say that the charm remains undiminished. If anything, it confirms its reputation as one of London’s finest boutique hotels. The location is, in my opinion, both exceptionally safe and wonderfully convenient. It sits just moments from Marylebone Village, where one can enjoy an excellent selection of cafés, restaurants, and independent retailers along Marylebone High Street. Selfridges — arguably the most fashionable department store in London — is also just a short walk away. The hotel itself retains its classic British heritage, beautifully preserved within the building. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. What truly stood out, however, was the staff: consistently friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. On our third day, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to an upper-floor room. This was entirely unexpected — we hadn’t requested it, paid for it, nor offered any inducement — simply informed that a better room was available. That gesture alone speaks volumes about the hotel’s approach to guest care. The upgraded room was spacious, elegant, and filled with glorious morning sunlight, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It was, quite simply, excellent. Ten years on, Ten Manchester Street Hotel remains a place of character, comfort, and quiet luxury. We would not hesitate to return, and we recommend it most highly to anyone seeking a refined and authentic London stay.

    While the curtain in the room avoids the sun to wake you up, the curtain in the bathroom will let the light come in through the glass door. A 4% discretionary service charge gratuity will be added to your bill. What for? I declined and got a cold reaction: "this is a first". I answered "same here".
