The facilities inc. the outdoor pool, gym, the private beach and sunbathing setup were fantastic. The hotel is quite big lots of space to relax outside one’s room. The rooms were big, had a nice balcony and breakfast was very good with many options.

The 2 elevators become a bottle neck to service approx 17 floors, the pool towels service was tedious and untimely (6pm close). In addition some staff were rude and at least one instance of misquoting costs.

Location… walking distance to the Old Town… to the beach… INCREDIBLE breakfast!

Great location and beautiful view from 11th floor facing the ocean, the mountains, the park and city panorama. Spacious room. Cleaners are friendly and efficient. Nice pool with an unbeatable view.

Charging for fresh orange juice is unheard of for a 5 star hotel, especially when you already offer unlimited orange slices in the breakfast buffet. Staff don't seem too enthusiastic in dealing with guests, except the cleaning ladies. Receptionist upon our check-in was a man of very few words, and the concierge guy starred at me rudely while reluctantly answered my question of where the closest ATM is. According to receptionist, valet parking is not free which is also strange for a 5 star hotel. When we arrived in our car, nobody came and gave us any information. So my husband drove the car to the underground garage, while I waited for him in front of the hotel with all our luggage. A few minutes later the bell boy came to help me. The valet guy should have told us that we could park underground and use the lift to go to the ground floor lobby. Awkward and confused first impression upon our arrival. Our room 2111 is spacious but tired. It has no shower door or curtain. Bathtub is quite deep requiring a big step into the tub, which can be dangerous if one slips. The tub itself has many scratches damaged over the years. There are only two sockets where we can use for charging devices, one above the desk and one outside the bathroom which are not as accessible as if they were on the two bedsides. The choice of perfume in the room is strong and unpleasant when we first entered the room. I had to open the balcony door to air out. Consider something neutral for the hotel scent such as citron or lemongrass. Glasses on the balcony compromise guest privacy to the neighbouring rooms. Use tall plants instead.
