Peppers Bluewater Resort

Location was excellent just off the main highway. Staffs were very nice and helpful . Apartment was very clean and well maintained and equipped.

Maddison at reception was amazing. We both have some mobility problems and Maddison swapped rooms for us so we has no steps to deal with. Then two of the team jumped into help us get our bags to our room. Thanks guys, a little kindness was much appreciated Maddison then went out of her way to help us with some paperwork we needed to sign and send. Much appreciated.

The restaurant was disorganized, the lady who was in charge was not up to the job. I understand staff is hard to find. The other waiters were trying but just had no real training or experience (not their fault). The food was good, but we found it strange that when we ordered the green beans as a side it came as 60% peas 40% green beans. I don't like peas no peas were mentioned on the menu (I checked) when we asked why there were peas we were informed that this is how they come. The room (104) was starting to show it's age worn carpet, broken bath tap souround. Some form of mold or decay on the shower ceiling. We could see rooms over the pond were getting upgraded so that was good.

Well located to the restaurants and sites of Lake Tekapo.

The property and units are out dated. Peppers once used to be somewhat luxe, I would not say that anymore. The rooms and decor are basic, and very knocked around. It is not worth the money. The signage of the property has been all ripped off at the entrance of the property also - we were not sure if they are no longer a peppers or what was going on.
