The 2 bedrooms suite was big and well equipped

A bit far from the center and the lake even if you have view on the lake. No bar nor restaurant facilities

It didn’t have any cover from the elements ie rain going up and down to the higher level

The view from the room was phenomenal. Having a coffee/breakfast in bed while looking at the mountains was truly stunning.

The breakfast wasn't great. The location is also just a bit too far from downtown to walk it with suitcases but there's no other real option to get there so we walked it (about 15 mins uphill). Beyond that, it was great.

The location was great, the view was decent, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room's main feature - a view of the sky right from the bed - sounded wonderful, but in practice the bright moonlight made it difficult to actually see the sky at night.

We stayed at Galaxy Boutique Hotel right after The Hermitage Hotel, where we'd had a Premium Queen room with beautiful large windows and a great view- and paid less than we did here. Unfortunately, the comparison didn't favour Galaxy. The room also wasn't fully prepared for our family: there weren't enough towels, and we had to request an extra one for our little one. Breakfast is delivered to the room, which is convenient, but it was very basic compared to other hotels we've stayed at in a similar price range. Although this is a new hotel, maintenance and cleanliness fell short. Dirt was visible to the naked eye in the bathroom, including in the shower cubicle and around the sink. The walls also had numerous scratch marks from luggages. One more issue: our room appeared to be located above the kitchen, and every morning around 8am the bathroom filled with strong cooking smells. I'm not sure if other rooms are affected, but it's worth asking about the room location when booking.
