    It was on a hill and had great views of the surrounding. There was a skylight which, if not for it being snow covered, would have shown a fantastic view of the night sky. Truly a hotel with bathrobes, room slippers, refreshments, mini bar. They serve breakfast in the room, which we enjoyed together with the view.

    ...and we were lucky enough to get a cloudless night so we could see the stars from the skylight. The location is a little far from the main town area so it was a bit tough walking with our luggage. But the room was clean and comfy! And the people working there were nice, helping us bring our luggage up to the room.

    The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside could be quite difficult to move your luggage around as the slope could be slippery when rains. Breakfast were unlimited and what surprised us would be the room comes with a rooftop view where you could see the stars at night. The door is quite heavy which means it is very safe from hazard. Nevertheless, totally will recommend this stay as it is quite away from the town so you get less crowd if you want to get nice view of lake tekapo.
