Lovely gardens well kept. Close to an ocean walk that I used to walk to Kingscliff.

Tried to book for breakfast at reception the day before as they requested. This meant you paid $26 or not pre booked $38. They got it wrong each day. A staff member from the restaurant had it corrected for me. My final check out matched the correction

Room was clean and comfortable. Chairs and table in the room so we didn’t have to sit on the beds. Balcony when it wasn’t too cold or raining! Close proximity to the beach. The hot spa in the tropical pool area was lovely.

Even after 2 emails and message requests for twin beds which were confirmed we arrived to find a double bed. We are 2 friends who need separate beds. I also asked for a nice view but it was terrible - looked at the road. The receptionist found a better room but it took several hours for the double bed in that room to be changed to twin beds. There was a lot of walking and remembering where to go down corridors, lifts and different wings and levels to get out, find the heated pool/spa and get to the car. We also had to walk a long way and through the reception area in wet bathers, towel etc to get back to our room. The coffee shop in house didn’t open until the afternoon. There was construction work going on everywhere too. A poorly designed resort. There were a few new restaurants as part of salt village nearby but we basically had to drive every day to enjoy main Kingscliff area itself.
