Mantra on Salt Beach

Location, pool, cute village.

Nothing

Clean and comfortable

Very large resort resulting in our room being a long way from the lifts. Gym is very small and minimally equipped for a resort of its size. Breakfast is at another hotel, another sizeable walk.

Close to everything. Hear the ocean.

2 towels for a 5 night stay is not enough

The room was well laid out and comfortable, parking was easy with plenty of spaces. Quiet with no disturbances.

My tea towel had some sort of grounds or dirt all over it, pretty disgusting if I'm honest. I hadn't used it and it was under the sink folded, and clearly not checked at the point in time it was placed in there. I also didn't like the lack of poolside service (e.g. physical service through f&b stewards or QR code at table) and selling a slushie as a 'cocktail' was disappointing. I asked if they could be made from scratch (pina colada) and was told 'no'. In comparison, Crowne Plaza has QR codes, full pool-side service and cocktails made from scratch. This was the same experience for the 'special' pina colada at Guilia - post mix slushie with added alcohol.
