Really clean and comfortable. Close to walks and lovely open views of trees and nature from the hotel grounds.
Shower pressure was very weak. Dining at the hotel was overpriced

Location suits us and we love room 212 overlooking the
train station and watching the steam train come and go,the staff are always lovely and welcoming, dinner is always good too
I have felt for years there could be some improvement with breakfast although this time I did think it had improved, the coffee is never nice and even new coffee machine hasn’t helped , I made coffee in the room and brought it down, problem solved, the menu has great variety

Decorated beautifully for Christmas. Friendly,helpful staff.
Bed was very uncomfortable and shower pressure awful. Breakfast was a bit of a disaster. Ran out of pastries/croissants and staff unable to keep up with filling up hot water /juice etc to keep pace with demand.
