Staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us with everything we needed. The room was cosy and tastefully decorated. The bed was so comfortable and the walk in shower was lovely. They are dog friendly and we were able to enjoy breackfast in the bar and dining in the beautiful garden area without worrying about our dog. They provided a dog bed and treats in the room too, nice touch. The food was really nice, compliments to the chef! The grounds are full of character and so well maintained. All in all enjoyed my stay and will definitely be booking again.
Temperatures were really high during our stay, a small fridge in the room would have been ideal to keep our water cool.
The menu options were limited as was the kids menu.

Lovely presentation/ choice/ quality for breakfast. Very friendly/ professional staff. Comfy bed/ lovely room/ bathroom.

Position, decor , friendly staff
Previously there was a full vegan menu but this wasn’t available and there was only one option - disappointing as we have had some good vegan meals on other occasions. Breakfast is very good except no vegan yogurt and continental buffet food not marked if suitable for vegans

Very scenic
Noisy during the night. Room was cold and in need of updating. Smell outside when leaving was very offensive, like rotting chicken
