Uncomfortable & disappointing

Unfortunately it hasn’t been finished to a good standard at all. The floor is peeling, there are holes in the walls, it’s just not nice at all. It is freezing, even with 4 electric heaters, we were all freezing. The beds were uncomfortable and the linen was not an airb&b or hotel standard. More like old blankets. It didn’t feel clean at all, There was no hot water for a shower. When we got there the fire alarm was beeping and had a red light, we asked the host to change it, she said she would but never came back or contacted us. It is by a main noisy road which kept us up. It really isn’t suitable for a let and really not at that price over £200. Really disappointing

BEWARE... a "holiday home" it is not! the location is simply awful.. its non-refundable for a reason

NOTHING IS GOOD.... The "property" is on the side of a large car park of a run down "rare breeds" farm (if a few pigs and donkeys are rare breeds?) separated only by a panel fence. I thought initially I had walked onto the set of a Carry On film with washing hung up in the car park, a dubious looking smelly burger van, an empty blow up "hot tub", a fire pit c/w no logs and half striped out cars, dumped mattresses and old shipping containers the other side of the fence. Yes it has a view of a stately home and river but I feel sorry for the people at the other end of that view looking back towards Goldings Farm as it is a tired and desperate mess. £500 for 2 nights non-refundable... we stayed 30 mins! My advice is dont be drawn in by the images on this listing and stay well away from this property or be prepared to be utterly disappointed and ripped off.

There is a horribly smelling burger van the other side of the property fence that apparently stays open until late. You can smell it inside the property even over the smell of damp. The ceiling looks like its going to fall down and the lino floor has bubbles in it. Although clean, this converted possibly once a portacabin has seen better days and there are many areas of poor decoration, unfinished and bad DIY, no fire extinguishers or evidence of PAT tests on any of the electrical items. It also has the smallest TV I think Ive ever seen and I didnt stay long enough to see if any wi-fi was actually there or not. I was genuinely shocked by this property and Morag (the owner) has been unresponsive in my request for a refund.

It was great to have everything that you needed. Fire pit, bbq great views too.

Too many ornaments… its not needed.
