The staff member was nice, welcoming and friendly. Gave us free parking.
The hotel needs some touches on finishing, painting, small repairs. The room was not very clean, hot water sink tap was broken, the shower was making soo much pressure noise that next door can hear it, and the water was just warm in the morning.

I stay in hotels 4 nights a week, but this hotel is fantastic and value for money ....the staff are so nice, welcoming and friendly....
It's right by the Sefton park, and a 10 min walk from Lark Lane which is very bohemian, lots of lovely restaurants ..
Stayed here last night with my partner and will definitely back.
The man on reception was so helpful ..I didn't get his name but will do when I am back

We visited the hotel to see a concert, the location was brilliant but the hotel itself is dated and requires upgrading and better cleanliness. The mattress was past its best and needed to be replaced. The rooms needed deep cleaning, painting, refreshing and just a complete revamp for it to make sense in terms of layout and newer facilities that can be properly cleaned as the cleanliness was not up to standard. The shower was hot also. The price we paid was ridiculous for the quality and standards of the hotel and for that reason it's quite hard to recommend.

Hotel is great if you wish to be near to Lark Lane or Sefton park (the palm house), but the hotel itself is in need of a lot of updating. The rooms are very tired and small. Beds and pillows are very comfortable and clean.
