Great place to stop for an overnight break going to and from Cornwall. Staff very welcoming. Room comfortable. Food excellent.

The staff were very obliging and helpful and the setting was lovely
It was the hottest day of the year when we stayed and sadly the hotel had no air conditioning. Apart from that unfortunate coincidence everything was perfect

It can be difficult to drive out due to limited sight of traffic approaching from the right, many of whom seemed to be exceeding the 20mph speed limit! A mirror in the opposite hedge would make this safer, if this could be permitted.

The food we had was sent Back twice as not hot! Hotel was very short staffed so had to wait too long to eat! And the male owner was not at all apologetic 😞
