A cosy cottage in the heart of Montacute just a couple of minutes walk from the National Trust property, Montacute House. The cottage has recently been renovated with a new kitchen and various decorative updates.
Montacute is a small village and civil parish in Somerset, England, 4 miles (6.4 km) west of Yeovil. The village is built almost entirely of the local hamstone. At the centre of the village is a large square known as the 'Borough' around which are grouped picturesque cottages

Very cute and cosy cottage with lovely decor. Great location in picturesque village and very handy for nearby National Trust properties and the coast. Very nice pub serving good food in the village. Couldn’t ask for more!Hosts were very responsive, going the extra mile to make sure everything was ok.I’m sure we will be back.

We loved our stay at this cosy little cottage. Really quaint, and just a short walk from Montacute House, which is a fun National Trust site.The kitchen facilities are so nice to cook in, the bathroom is great, and the rooms are very comfortable. The hosts are super communicative on message but left us to check in and out using the key code, which was super easy.I would absolutely stay here again.

We had a really good time (2 nights) in Montecute, it's a lovely village. We eat at the Kings Arm, food was nice and not expensive. We visited Montecute House, unfortunately the two upper floors were closed due to refurbishment. Nice walks around the village.
