This former hay barn is located on the edge of Knole, a tranquil and picturesque hamlet within a conservation area.
The cottage is equidistant from the north Somerset coast, with sandy beaches, and the beautiful Dorset coast, with its Jurassic coastline and pretty bays. The Fleet Air Arm Museum and Clark’s Village (with its major brand outlets) are nearby, as are the abbey towns of Sherborne with its two castles along with Glastonbury. Wells has a truly beautiful Cathedral and Bishop’s Palace with delightful garden. Wookey Hole Caves, Cheddar Gorge and Longleat are a little further away, but well worth a visit. Swimming, tennis, golf (1 mile) and excellent fishing (trout and coarse) are within easy reach, alongside excellent local walks and country pubs.
