The venue is beautiful, very relaxing and the spa was incredible.
Nothing.

Perfect for friends or couples, for that special occasion or just to get away from stresses of life.
Every member of staff was so welcoming, friendly and polite. The place was warm, which was perfect on such a cold day. It was spotlessly clean throughout. Our apartment was absolutely perfect. The walk into the village was no more than 10 mins and the view from the hotel and spa was magical. The breakfast staff were so accommodating when I complained about the odd taste to the milk in my porridge. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be returning soon.
One member of staff showed us around the lockers and gave us a brief explanation on how to use them and what supplies there were regarding towels etc. However, she did not show us around but noticed that she was showing other visitors, so we felt that we had missed out on facilities, eg outdoor ice pool etc as we only found out about that right at the very end when it was too late. This really is the only criticism for the whole stay.

Magical and unique spa and stay hotel .
There are no words to describe how amazingly wonderful St Brides spa is. Spent a couple of days for my birthday with my daughter. Top class furnishings top class spa. Food was fantastic. DAN the barman has the best customer service and thank you for spoiling us. Loved the spa day out in the infinity pool when a shower or rain rolled in across the sea and then a rainbow on the beach. MAGICAL! Wonderful massage and facial. Don't want to leave today 😞thank you all for this beautiful spa hotel.

Very good, apartment
Stayed for 3 nights. The apartments are very nicely laid out and very comfy. Shower gels, soaps, teas all provided, bit of milk as well. Comfy beds. Bathrooms were great. Separately to the apartments the spa is amazing 10 out of 10. Best spa I've been to.
There is not much colour in the apartments. Limited pictures, greys and browns. No oven. It needs one. Wardrobes in main bedroom are right behind door for some reason, rather than near bed. You couldn't enter the room when wardrobe open. Ate in restaurant one night, and it was ok. My halibat was overcooked, which you don't expect for the price.. 5 out of 10.

Lovely couples night away
Absolutely stunning hotel located with amazing views over Sundersfoot and Amroth.
The Spa was a delight and definitely a bucket list item ticked off for us as we are usually camping several times a year in saundersfoot. Fireworks while we were in the spa pool were an amazing bonus.
The restaurant and bar staff were amazing fitting us in at short notice with a window table no less 👏 👌. Food was first class and to be fair not as expensive as it could have been for the location and views.
Breakfast was equally great with the same table watching early morning swimmers brave the cold waters of saundersfoot beach.
All in all a good experience and I feel we can ever afford it again we will definitely be going back to escape the kids 😄
Just one complaint about the shower in room 219. It's quite a high step up for a shower with an awkward shower screen frame. My wife banged her foot while exiting and we noticed it had become quite bruised when we got home.
We haven't complained about this as its just a bruise and we're not really big complainers.
This wouldn't stop us going back at all but worth noting for anyone who may struggle stepping in and out of a shower.

Very relaxing but not quite the wow factor I was expecting
Lovely surroundings, fabulous spa, lovely lounge area and great breakfast
My room was not properly sound proofed and could hear banging from the upper floor all night. I stay in hotels regularly and am fine with a bit of noise but this was not good. For the money, I expected more. Also the evening menu needs more variety, ended up having to eat dinner outside of the hotel

A really wonderful and relaxing stay.
The whole stay was great. Breakfast was good. Also, the evening was good. Staff/ waiters were great in in helping us choose our meals.
Everything lived up to our expectations.

disappointing- did not live up to expectations- would not visit again
Apartment was changed on arrival due to unsatisfactory apartment booked
Lovely spa, but very expensive
initial village apartment poor, overlooked - outlook was carpark right by the windows, no privacy, property in poor repair, rear windows looked onto a wall - very dark. On complaining moved to another apartment that was cosmetically better but had no oven and very limited self catering provision and no Wi-Fi

Beautifully renovated. Fantastic location and huge comfy beds.

Overpriced, underwhelmed.
Location
Breakfast was average at best, Hotel overpriced, relaxation room of spa below restaurant, very noisy. Was holding sone sort of conference but not the correct venue for this sort of thing. People stood on balcony overlooking spa.

Relaxing
The apartment was spacious, comfortable bed, great location. A few. In walk to the town and the beach for nice walks.
It would have been nice to have some blankets in a room to cosy up on a sofa while watching a movie and reading a book, or having a coffee in a balcony in the morning.

Expected more cleanliness, expensive, not enjoyable
Wouldn’t recommend it was basic cleanliness wasn’t good didn’t take photos as this was a last minute booking and just didn’t want the hassle of making a complaint but general standard was poor
Cleanliness
Entrance hall had rubbish- empty coke bottle
Walls I’m apartment dirty with lots of marks
Grout in shower mouldy
Had to pay extra for use of spar in hotel which was not expected
Overall substandard accommodation

Ok, a bit disappointing this time.
I have stayed at St Brides Hotel many times before. The hotel has recently been taken over and it has been updated to a certain extent. The room was very comfy - we had a balcony which overlooked the beach at Saundersfoot. The lounge and bar are a comfy area and the spa facilities are good. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both of which were very good. The waiter serving the dinner was particularly helpful in understanding my companion’s eating difficulties in a sensitive way.
It was a very wet afternoon when we arrived before the check-in time. The receptionist on duty at the time said we might have the room at two instead of three o’clock. Guests who arrived after us were shown to their room at 1.40pm. They did not have early check-in. Others then arrived and were shown to their room ahead of time. We were just left waiting & were not given our room until 15.15. Nobody offered us a satisfactory explanation: different receptionists gave different answers.
Our room was comfy & spacious, but the sound-proofing between the floors left a lot to be desired. When the guests upstairs dropped things on the floor, particularly when they did it in the middle of the night, it resonated through the room. When the guests above flushed had a shower/bath, the water cascading down made it sound in our room as if we were visiting Niagra Falls.
Since new management the prices have gone up considerably. The room we had for one night was over £600. Not sure it was worth the money. Apart from the view, there was nothing in the room that particularly made it worth the hike in price. The receptionist’s inattention to us, compared to other guests, was not particularly welcoming. Having spent some really lovely times at St Bride’s before, including a New Year, I was disappointed and I felt to some extent that the money they are now charging is not matched in the delivery.

Beautiful way to celebrate with a loved one
Staff were lovely and friendly, accommodation was clean and tidy, the spa was amazing with beautiful views over the bay. We celebrate our 10year wedding anniversary and the staff made it special, food in The Clif restaurant was out of this world.

Wonderful place to stay overlooking the attractive west coast of Wales
The 5 star location, the view from our sea view room, the restaurant and the spa location.
My wife is a coeliac and is egg intolerant. At dinner the main course contained bead crumbs. Although we had been asked our dietary requirements before entering the dining room, my wife did have a mouthful of coated bread crumbs before the situation was rectified. The staff were very apologetic and a letter of apology was send to our home email address.

We had a fantastic time.
Excellent service from Ben at the bar. All staff were helpful and most go above and beyond. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Food was lovely.
Refurb work outside wasn’t completed.

Good location, nice apartment, horrendous fire alarm!
Great location. Rooms were nicely laid out and the kitchen area had a huge table and seating area. Kids loved their twin room with their own tv. 2 bathrooms made getting ready really easy.
The fire alarms went off constantly. It woke us up twice very early morning and it was so deafening it terrified our young son. Other people staying in the other apartments must have been showering and setting the alarms off but it became laughable that no one bothered to evacuate.

Would I stay again - Absoluteky Not!
Good location
Poor service overall, rooms are London prices if not more, noisy renovation works. Rooms located to front of the building have to endure from circa 6.45/7am not only bin lorry's but deliveries and the sound of reversing warnings!

So close to being a fantastic hotel.
The location, view and spa were excellent. Breakfast was good.
What annoyed me, for the price you pay and the location and overall good facilities of the hotel is that the housekeeping was poor. Toilet not cleaned, towels not replaced, robes not replaced (they made a point of saying this would be done as it is a spa hotel). We ate once in the restaurant in the evening and it was mediocre for the price. Better quality available in the town for less. If the bar service was better and they took a little more care over serving something like a G&T then the bar would be busier and have some atmosphere.

A beautiful venue in a particularly lovely area and convenient for the beach,
The Spa was very good, although there was some building work still to be completed, we were able to use the spa on a couple of occasions although it was very necessary to book ahead for a space as it was very busy and popular.
The view from our room was just a small area from the balcony facing a border fence the if you looked down the narrow path bordering the balcony just able to glimpse the sea from there.
Most things were very good, and there wasn't anything that we didn't really like.
Fantastic views from the dining room, spa and rest areas. Nice room, free parking, free wifi and complimentry hydropool facilities for each night of stay.
Requested a window seat at the Cliff restaurant in the hotel when we booked evening dinner, but on arrival they were all taken and the head waiter stated it was first come first serve and attempted to put us on a table at the furthest point away from the windows. When a window table did become free he told us to wait for the table to be cleared and he will call us when its ready. When he did call us the table had been taken by the people arriving after us. We were furious and decided not to have lunch or dinners there after that evening and went elsewere.

Nothing special. Over rated.
Easy access. Apartment was lovely and clean. Not fair that you have to pay £45.00 each to use the spa facilities.
Need to have black out curtains in bedroom.
