The property was beautiful, it really felt like you could switch off and relax

Had to change rooms 3 times and whe wanted to book an extra night got a extortionate price with no breakfast included and would have to move rooms again for the 4th time

Large executive room that we weren't expecting, was a pleasant surprise

I could hear the occupants from next door snoring and in the morning you could hear the conversation.

Everything was great. Food and staff were very helpful and they also gave us a free pass to the swimming pool for our family. Very happy.

It took us a while to work out the shower and towel heater and radiator. But all worked and we got there in the end

Wonderful sized bedroom, with comfortable chairs and a great shower. It had windows that opened and a wall heater that you could adjust yourself. Staff were very friendly.

Bed was too hard for us.

Friendly staff and helpful Lovley spa, excellent breakfast and restaurant service, parking great room nice and clean good value for money, we’re at a Xmas doo, entertainment was excellent and food good can’t fault it xx

When you pay in advance, it is quite difficult to order additional services.

We were giving a room at the side of the hotel. It was very cold no heating only a we blow heater. The guy up above us you could here his every move. The bathroom was freezing. I have stayed here before but was in the hotel itself.

Booking in 2.05pm- refused Back 3.10pm -large queue Hotel room outside- hard rain Room freezing Two little radiators in room-one didn't work Radiators on wall didn't work Went back reception in rain told about radiator that didn't work- two staff members came to check 30mins later- 1 left door open while checking- freezing. Went and said bring another radiator left front door open Hour later still not been went back reception in rain. Reception said he's just getting you one- give me free pass for swimming Swimming room for families. No locker so had leave daughter with member of staff whilst I went mens room. Locker doors didn't work properly so had leave daughter for longer than wanted too. Had swim.had leave daughter while I got clothes noticed costume dryer none in family room. Got changed had leave my daughter on own while I went and dried costumes in machine Back to room a small radiator was left in room not turned on room freezing. Turned it on generated little heat. Went for dinner informed dinner I'd paid for in bill was only for me and I'd have pay for my daughters and any extras plus if I wanted 3courses I'd also have pay for that only 2 was covered. Had chicken strips starter- dry. Had chicken for main dry- left most of it. Got bill optional service charge on Back to room cold radiators too small to warm up such a large room. Went put side lights on for bed both sides didn't work. Got in bed bottom sheet not made properly. No phone for reception just a WhatsApp number Coat wet through going reception, swimming dinner forward and back no way of drying it Cracked toilet tiles an cracked plaster in bathroom Grime on the bathroom window Bathroom fan that sounds like a prepella of a 1930s plane

The set menu was the same both nights and choices were a little limited with lots of chicken dishes. The waitresses were very keen on clearing the table when you'd finished eating.

Good breakfast and plenty of choice.

The public rooms were chilly.

Everything was excellent, room, breakfast, dinner and leisure facilities were all wonderful.

I could not find fault with anything.

It was clean and very inviting

Some areas are slightly dated but nothing that was offensive

Stayed previously and used several time this time wasn’t good didn’t get a rested night sleep what paid for hotel not interested

Room was like a sauna above the spa Fire alarm went off I had to ring reception to tell them as unaware was shocked when called reception @ 00:30 to advise them , we left 08:00 would of left @ 01:00 when alarm was still goin but had a drink , on check out there was a sign apologising about fault in alarm and was allowed extra hour in the room ? What good is that when checking out when already left the room and packed up ??

Nice breakfast and comfortable beds.

Fire alarm going off early hours in the morning causing lots of distress for myself and my husband, who is awaiting major heart surgery. No staff to assist anyone and lots of chaos from customers who didn’t know what to do.

We came with a dance group of children and parents. Beautiful location, plenty parking. Fabulous spacious rooms. Enjoyed the use of the swimming pool for our children.

Bit noisey for my friend who stayed in a room facing front of the hotel. A wedding had been on, and children were running around outside at midnight shouting.

Comfortable beds and nice size room.

Fire alarm went off several times early hours in the morning. No staff were present at reception or around the hotel, the phone in my room didn’t work, and no one answered the hotel number. This was distressing and unsafe. We were told to go back to our rooms by a lady who was leaving the hotel but the alarm was still going off.

The main is old but full of character, sharply presented and super clean. The room was big with fresh furnishings and immaculate bathroom. The bed was really comfortable and the staff were friendly and considerate.

It was a lovely place very clean and welcoming

TV in the room in a funny location. Hard to watch from the bed!

Breakfast was very good, and the diner was excellent they reserved a table for us so we could still have the evening meal even though it was quite late.

The Parking: we were not informed that we had to register our number plate on the screens at the reception unfortunately the receptionist did not tell us when we checked in, so we hope that we are not getting a fine in the future.

Nice building, food nice bed comfy

It states on the website they have lift, but it is only in a certain part of the building had to climb too many steps, my wife struggles with stairs. We asked for more toilet roll and milk, receptionist said she would sort out, nothing happened..

It was a nice and quite place which is what we wanted.Staff was very helpful and friendly

Room getting too hot in the night and no where to set temparature so had to open windows.At room entrance floor making noisy everytime people are passing which was distracted our sleep. Breakfast was a bit dissapointed not much choices for the price and some of the food was cold, and tea mshine not very hot water😏

Everything was outstanding. Beds were comfy and views were wonderful

The staff were good and bigger rooms are excellent. Food is really nice and location is good. Our room was upgraded as it was our anniversary for free.

Lower value rooms are small.
