Waverley Hotel

Absolutely fantastic experience at the Waverley Hotel! The staff were amazing, extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. A very special thank you to Matteo (I hope I remembered your name correctly!) for the exceptional kindness and hospitality. As a motorcyclist, I was particularly impressed with how motorcycle-friendly this hotel is. The staff kindly arranged for my motorcycle to be parked in a secure, locked area at the back of the hotel. This gave me complete peace of mind throughout the night. It’s not every day you find such genuinely caring and thoughtful hospitality. I felt very welcome and appreciated everything the staff did for me. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Waverley Hotel, especially to fellow motorcycle travellers. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Absolutely nothing! Everything was excellent, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious- we came down later than indented on the second morning and even though we just caught breakfast in time the chef made us fresh mushrooms, definitely the best service and breakfast we’ve had in a B&B

Decor was dated but rooms were clean and comfortable

The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was upgraded on arrival which was a nice gesture. Food was great for evening meal and breakfast. Handy location for town centre and sports like football, rugby league and speedway. Good value for price paid.

Stairway a bit narrow in places but manageable!

- Price-quality-wise, the hotel is very affordable. - The staff members were helpful and approachable.

- We could hear the people coming and leaving the hotel. - Noisy mattresses.
