Riad El Amine Fès - Historic Hotels Worldwide

Beautiful property, lobby is truly breathtaking. Room was very big and comfortable. Loved the rooftop bar and restaurant, lovely view and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Hotel staff could be slightly friendlier but staff was very accommodating and professional.

Riad El Amine gave us a marvellous five star accommodation expérience . We were extremely lucky to have found this absolute gem in Fes and revelled in our four nights there. We loved the elegant decor, the wonderful hamman, the yummy meals ( on a beautifully presented table - charming local porcelain and hand embroidered tablecloths) and especially enjoyed the attentive, delightful staff at the Riad. - all this made for a fabulous stay. The setting is authentic, intimate and highlighted the best of Moroccan art de vie, architecture and art - frankly we have travelled widely and were impressed. The presidential suite is excellent value for money. We would return in a heartbeat.

Aesthetically the riad was beautiful and the beds were super comfortable. We also enjoyed a delicious meal on the rooftop one evening.

But in terms of service, there was a lack of attention to detail on the part of management. A request for pick up from the train station went unanswered, the second towel we asked for was never delivered, nor was the second chair we asked for, and the smell from the pipes in the bathroom was also unattended. Throughout the day, the schmaltzy music that was piped through the common areas at a slightly intrusive volume was competing with the heavy beat of the music coming from the bar on the roof - so not so relaxing! This was by far the most expensive place we stayed in during our 2 weeks in Morocco, and by far the most disappointing!
